My wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights from August 30th to Sept 2nd. This was our first trip to Rome and my wife booked this hotel based on the great reviews on this site as well, she wanted a hotel that was centrally located so that we could walk to most of the highlights. I doubt she...

The hotel is situated in an incredible historical building, which has been renovated with the greatest care and style. The staff was both friendly and...

My new wife and I stayed here for 3 days as part of our honeymoon. We took time choosing this hotel, and much was based on previous reviews and location as well as it looked a little quirky. We had great service from the off, with Sarah responding within minutes of my email offering advise and assistance. Upon arrival we...

This small hotel is only minutes walk from the colosseum. The staff and service was great. The shower and bed were great. The rooms are small, very small and some what dated. They are not new or antique...just data. Overall ok. For the money it was great.

My wife and I stayed at Torre Colonna on the 20th July. This was my wife's birthday, and the first day we arrived in Rome, of our 3 night trip. The hotel is a real haven in the centre of Rome, very close to many of the main sites. Staff were excellent, room lovely, breakfast of a very good standard....

This place is a hidden gem. Sara and staff made every effort to make our stay the best and even went out of their way to have gluten free food for my son and I when I mentioned that we couldn't eat gluten. Breakfasts were great ( thanks to Alvin) and our room was just perfect for a couple with...

What a unique place! It boasts only 5 rooms (one per floor) and is in a 13th century medieval tower. The location is amazing - right by the Imperial Forums and centered between Ancient Rome and the historic center. We found it very walkable to all of Rome (including the Vatican and the Borghese Gardens). It's also right down the...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
