We keep coming back here when visiting Rome. Excellent location, attentive host, and reasonable price all make up this cozy B&B. Rooms are modern and very clean. Fulvia could not be more helpful and her knowledge of Rome is second to none. Breakfast provided is basic but more than enough to fill your energy wondering around this wonderful city. Its... More

You cannot do better than Casa Romana. We stayed 4 nights and left knowing that our next hotel, though much bigger, could not possibly measure up. Fulvia has managed a larger hotel in the past and now applies all the know how to this intimate setting. Her guests benefit from that experience and, most of all, her genuine desire to... More

We just returned from staying with Fulvia at Casa Romana. She is a wonderful host who made our sightseeing even better with her daily recommendations. Her knowledge of the many treasures found in Rome was wonderful and allowed us to make adjustments to our schedule to see so much more than we expected. The apartment is modern and clean and... Stayed here for two nights. Bargain price for a Fantastic location right next to termini station and easy walk to city centre. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. The host Fulvia was an excellent resource for exploring outside the normal tourist spots. Would definitely stay here next trip to Rome.

We (two couples) just returned from Italy and spent 5 wonderful days in Rome at Casa Romana. As others have said, it is located two blocks from Termini which makes it very convenient to get anywhere via metro as well as from the airport or on to Florence. Fulvia was so attentive and helpful. Each morning she had breakfast waiting... More

Casa Romana was recommended by friends whose opinions we value and we are pleased to say they were spot on as usual. We stayed with our daughter and her partner for 3 nights. Each of our rooms had shower and toilet facilities and were comfortable, contemporary and spotlessly clean. The apartment building is in a very good location just a... More

We are a family of five who stayed with Fulvia for two nights recently. I had previously stayed here with a few friends and thought it a great apartment and location. As so many of the reviewers have said it ticks all of the boxes in terms of a great location, clean and lovely rooms, but the thing that really... More

This charming B&B was located less than 2 blocks from Termini Station, which made it easy to get to our destinations of the Vatican, The Coliseum and the entire city of Rome during the two days that we were in Rome after our Mediterranean cruise. Our room had a private bath/shower with adequate towels and amenities, including a hair dryer.... More

Fulvia is amazing!! She came recommended to me by my father-in-law who stays at Casa Romana anytime he is in Rome. Her personal touch made our Rome trip so much more enjoyable. It is located less than 5 minutes walk from Termini station. Highly recommend!!!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
