Casa Romana was recommended by friends whose opinions we value and we are pleased to say they were spot on as usual. We stayed with our daughter and her partner for 3 nights. Each of our rooms had shower and toilet facilities and were comfortable, contemporary and spotlessly clean. The apartment building is in a very good location just a...

We are a family of five who stayed with Fulvia for two nights recently. I had previously stayed here with a few friends and thought it a great apartment and location. As so many of the reviewers have said it ticks all of the boxes in terms of a great location, clean and lovely rooms, but the thing that really...

This charming B&B was located less than 2 blocks from Termini Station, which made it easy to get to our destinations of the Vatican, The Coliseum and the entire city of Rome during the two days that we were in Rome after our Mediterranean cruise. Our room had a private bath/shower with adequate towels and amenities, including a hair dryer....

Fulvia is amazing!! She came recommended to me by my father-in-law who stays at Casa Romana anytime he is in Rome. Her personal touch made our Rome trip so much more enjoyable. It is located less than 5 minutes walk from Termini station. Highly recommend!!!

Very good location, first class room plus Fulvia's attention to detail, making sure our stay was memorable. The availability of informed advice, whether sights to see, how to visit them or where to eat seemed second to none. A shame we can't go every month !

As the other reviews say, Fulvia is amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable, and Fulvia was so helpful and kind, she even came up to deliver breakfast in the morning. While it's somewhat farther from the center of Rome, being close to the train station was pretty convenient. Overall a great place to stay!

This is the first time we tried to stay in a B&B. Fulvia is friendly and accomodating from the day we arrived. She provided us all our necessities esp. we brought along our toddler. Breakfast is simple, typical Italian but tastes good. Hubby & I love the cappuccino she makes. We even asked her how to make one. Our room...

I selected Casa Romana for my stay in Rome because of reviews here on Trip Advisor, and they were spot-on. The location - just two blocks from Termini Station - is super convenient, both in getting from the airport and in getting around the city. The building doesn't look like much. It's old and kind of run down and the...

Thank you Fulvia for a wonderful 3 nights in Rome. This B & B is ideally situated close to the station but a very safe area. Fulvia was wonderful and so knowledgeable about Rome, what to see, where to eat, best transport options. I do not think we could have chosen anywhere better. Breakfast was great and made by Fulvia...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
