Excellent hotel for the money. Perfect location near metro & the central train station. It is in walking distance (not very close however) to local POI such as the Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Stairs etc. The Hotel itself is in a very good condition with modern decoration and furniture. The room was big while the double bed was the...

Nice, clean, modern, comfortable hotel in Rome down town, no more than 2 minutes from Roma Termini central station and metro stations. The area is not so great but the hotel is really very good, with good service, nice breakfast and restaurant. This hotel is really good value. The rooms are nice and big by Italian standards and quite luxuriously furnished. The free breakfasts are also great with quite a wide range of food available. On the downside I would say that the bathroom (which is equally big and luxurious) is let down by a shower that consisted of two shower curtains...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
