Its only a few minute walk from the train station to this hotel which is very convienient. The hotel is excellent quality and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of choice. 20 min walk to Colesseum and 25 to the trevi fountain, so easy to get around. If you prefer, the hop on hop off...

Excellent bed, bathroom (power shower) and breakfast. Very good location as on both metro lines to sites: Line A to / from Vatican city, Spanish Steps etc and Line B coluseum / forum etc. Tram noise not an issue. Just wish lounge and bar were more attractive as ambient. If bar prices were not so high (E10 for spirits) then...

Super friendly staff willing to help when ever you need them, Irene was specially nice. The hotels has been recently refurbished to very high standards, Very spacious rooms, much bigger and better than expected. Breakfast buffet included in the price was very good with a variety of foods. Centrally located you can walk everywhere or take the tube from Termini...

Hotel was a lot more than we expected; this hotel is located within minutes from the Termini train station and we found this very convenient for visiting the city since Termini is the only station where the 2 Metro lines intersect. The hotel staff was very responsive to all requests. The hotel restaurant was very good and not too pricey...

We really enjoyed our short stay in this hotel, which is very conveniently situated for the train station and the bus station. It does have noisy trams passing by, so we emailed the hotel the week before we arrived to ask for a quiet room overlooking the inner courtyard and got just what we wanted. (Sarebbe molto gentile se ci...

This hotel had everything and about 100 metres from Termini. It's about a 20 minute walk from all the popular tourist spots which we didn't find a problem. It's only been open a few years and very modern, beautiful rooms, very good breakfast included and attentive staff. What more could you want!

Una hotel is located 5 mins from Roma termini . We arrived to find a very nice and pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. Our room although not the biggest we have stayed in was very well appointed and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Sadly no pool which would have been welcome on a 30c+ day but...

If you are commuting in and out of Termini, this hotel is the perfect location. It's a functional, clean bright hotel. Rooms are modern, sparsely decorated, a touch on the small side, but on a quiet street. We had no problem walking into the main sites in Rome, which were mostly a 15 minute stroll away, including the Colosseum. Only...

My experience here was fantastic. I opted for a balcony Terrace, and they truly are large terraces with good views over the city, and you can get your included breakfast sent to the balcony. Staff was very helpful. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Also 1 block from the Rome Termini which is the easiest way to access, the airport, other cities...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
