Over the years, I have had many pleasurable stays at fine hotels in Italy. However, my visit to Una Roma on 25 August was unfortunately a horrible exception. I was encouraged to stay in UNA ROMA by friends and the good reviews this hotel has. We took 3 deluxe rooms for a family vacation. On 25 August, I came back...

Dear Guest, we do feel sorry if your experience during your stay with us ended up to be a terrible one, however every hotel in the world has its own policy and procedures that can be different at times. We mean the "do not disturb" sign when the guest is phisically in the room in order to avoid causing him...

Very handy to Termini Station where we caught the bus and hop on hop off bus. A lovely modern hotel with a nice atmosphere, Good welcome at Reception. The room was very spacious although ours faced into the inner atrium. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch in the bar area. My husband accidently pulled the emergency cord in the shower but...

Great hotel just a one minute walk from Termini station. Staff, rooms, facilities all modern and excellent. Plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel and its just around the corner from where all the hop on hop off buses stop.

Its only a few minute walk from the train station to this hotel which is very convienient. The hotel is excellent quality and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of choice. 20 min walk to Colesseum and 25 to the trevi fountain, so easy to get around. If you prefer, the hop on hop off...

Excellent bed, bathroom (power shower) and breakfast. Very good location as on both metro lines to sites: Line A to / from Vatican city, Spanish Steps etc and Line B coluseum / forum etc. Tram noise not an issue. Just wish lounge and bar were more attractive as ambient. If bar prices were not so high (E10 for spirits) then...

Hotel was a lot more than we expected; this hotel is located within minutes from the Termini train station and we found this very convenient for visiting the city since Termini is the only station where the 2 Metro lines intersect. The hotel staff was very responsive to all requests. The hotel restaurant was very good and not too pricey...

We really enjoyed our short stay in this hotel, which is very conveniently situated for the train station and the bus station. It does have noisy trams passing by, so we emailed the hotel the week before we arrived to ask for a quiet room overlooking the inner courtyard and got just what we wanted. (Sarebbe molto gentile se ci...

This hotel had everything and about 100 metres from Termini. It's about a 20 minute walk from all the popular tourist spots which we didn't find a problem. It's only been open a few years and very modern, beautiful rooms, very good breakfast included and attentive staff. What more could you want!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
