Luigi, our host, was very helpful and full of recommendations on where to go and what to do. He went out of his way to show us a place to eat the night we got there and even lent us a local phone to use on our stay. The Inn is no more than a 2 minute walk from the...

This was a nice place to stay. Luigi, the owner, was very friendly and helpful upon our arrival. He answered all our questions, told us how to get to different sites and gave us advice on various local matters. The expresso was nice to make whenever you want. However, I don't recommend having one at 8pm as I did unless...

I took my partner to Rome as a surprise birthday trip, and I picked Zero6 based on the tripadvisor recommendations. I was not disappointed! Luigi contacted me to arrange the transfer from the airport, which was very professional. When we arrived at the apartments Luigi chatted to us and explained everything that we could need to know, including where to...

We (couple) stayed here in September for 3 nights. We received a very warm welcome from Luigi, the owner. His English was really good, so communicating was very easy. The room was very clean, with a good bed, airconditioning and a medium sized bathroom. The location is perfect: in a quite part of Rome, at 5 minutes walking distance from...

Zero6 felt very much like a home from the moment I walked in. It is more like an apartment, with shared coffee (Nespresso machine!) and tea options, as well as small croissants/cakes to choose from. This was my first trip to Rome, and Luigi was a great host to introduce us to the city. He was kind, friendly, and willing...

I had read the reviews of Zero6 and had high hopes when I arrived. I wasn't disappointed! Unfortunately Luigi wasn't there when we arrived but after a quick phone call he came over. He was very helpful and informative; giving advice about the sights and attractions. The room was big, clean and equipped with air con and fridge. Basically everything...

Luigi was brilliant from the moment we booked. I emailed him a few times before we arrived to clarify a few things and to put in a request and he was absolutely fantastic. He speaks English perfectly and was keen to help with everything. I called him when we landed and he ensured that he was in the guest house...

Truly a fantastic location and room. We had a double room on the corner, overlooking the quiet residential street. Yet we were just a short (4 blocks) from the Vatican and just a block from the metro. Luigi was incredibly helpful--he arranged a private car to pick us up from the airport which was not much more than a taxi...

This guesthouse is definitely of great value. Maria is quite nice and professional, and she introduces the apartment to us when we arrive. The room is super clean, with all the necessary facilities. Free deserts and coffee are also available there. Highly recommend this one to budget travelers. :)

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
