After two weeks in Rome and the Amalfi Coast, we were thrilled to spend our final night in this stunning hotel. The common areas and the rooms are so beautifully appointed. The art is gorgeous and the small grounds lovely. Loved the appointments of the room though ours was somewhat small, it was quite nicely done. The bath was small...

Dear guests, What a great comment you gave us, it has really touched all of us, “grazie mille” for all those lovely compliments! That’s right, our Hotel is situated in one of the most peaceful, green and prestigious residential area of Rome. Parioli district is a little bit outside the city center because that’s where you can find the most...

As someone who's herd about how notorious Italian hotel can be, I was very much releaved when entering the most spacious room with a very classic design. I won't tell you that the distance away from the city didn't bother me, but if you looking for a good night's sleep and maybe a nice romantic spot, this is definitely a...

A lovely hotel, we had a room with a private garden terrace, very peaceful. The room was fantastic, the staff were very nice and helpful. We stayed for two nights at the start of our holiday. Breakfast was excellent! All fresh buffet style continental, all you can eat. It is out of the city, but easy access by bus or tram.Hotel...

What made my stay so special is that Rome can be a loud, chaotic city and Hotel Villa Duse is in a part of the city that is upscale, safe, and very quiet. The hotel feels more like a boutique hotel and the accommodations were very comfortable. I had a private terrace to enjoy, and that made me feel even...

We booked Hotel Villa Duse based on the flawless reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! The hotel is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but is within reasonable walking distance to amenities or the 360 bus is close by that goes down to Termini. The area is quiet and residential but...

When I was researching the hotel I read up on the distance it was from the centre of Rome, and it seemed to be pretty manageable. Most reviews pointed out that the service level and relative peaceful and quiet nature of the hotel and it's surroundings were well worth the distance. The welcome, the service and the room were all...

We spent the last 4 days of our Italy trip in Villa Duse, Rome. I would hate to call it a hotel because it was more of a home for those 4 days. It is a beautiful house with elegantly designed spaces and one cannot miss the unique pieces of furniture in the rooms as well as common spaces. The...

We were greeted very warmly upon our arrival and before we ventured out into Rome on our first day the reception were happy to provide us with maps, tips and public service routes. They couldn't have been more helpful and spoke English fluently. The reception even called the Borghese Gallery to book a reservation for us whilst we went out...

Enjoyed our 2 nights in the tower room, which was really beautiful and very impressive on arrival. The location is convenient, just out of the city centre but within a 45 min walk or 20 min taxi of all the main attractions. The staff were great, as was the breakfast but there were a few things that weren't so good.....

We were delighted with our 4 night stay at the Hotel Villa Duse. We stayed in the Tower Room, which had a lot of character and gave us great views of the surrounding neighbourhood. Although the hotel is a little way from the city centre, that wasn't an issue for us once we had cracked the tram and bus system....

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
