This was our first stop for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved the location! It is in a really quiet area but you can easily walk to attractions, restaurants and even a little grocery store. Our room was a good size for the 2 of us and I loved how colorful it was. Everything was spotless clean and the staff was very friendly. Albergo Etico had our favorite hotel breakfast for our whole 2 week trip across Italy (and that includes a 4 star hotel!) If you are hungry for dinner, make sure you walk to Cacio e Pepe while staying here! Overall a very pleasant stay in Roma.
The only negative was that the bed was really uncomfortable and we barely slept our entire stay. If you like super duper extra firm mattresses, your trip will be a 10 instead of an 8. Aside from that, fantastic hotel!

Our first time in Italy, rome was excellent and wonderful thanks to the staff members of the hotel. They made us feel like at our home, they were really helpful and the hotel and the rooms were very clean and neath. Breakfast was very tasty and lots of varieties of foods, whenever you need a help the staffs members will always be happy to help you. the place of the hotel is in a quite street and a few minutes away from the metro station and from Piazza Del Popolo.
It was our first but not the last time in there, we will come back in the near future!
Thanks a lot for making our vacation comfortable and memorable!
Thanks from alina and jake.

The hotel itself is great - large rooms, a bed which was bigger than expected (their double bed is at least the size of a U.S queen and was one mattress not 2 twins pushed together which I encountered in other hotels in Italy). Upbeat, colorful decor was nice to return to after long day. Breakfast buffet was good, as was dinner the 1 night I ate there; front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Overall ambiance of hotel was nice.

Only drawback was location, was a bit of a walk (~35 minutes to Colosseum, slightly closer to heart of historic center) to the main attractions. I normally don't mind walking so thought this would be fine, however, most of these attractions also involve walking so you are essentially on your feet all day, and the distance made it difficult to return to hotel for a break/shower. It was 90 degrees every day I was there despite the fact that it was October, which also contributed to the distance seeming too far. There is a metro stop nearby, which I used once and I suppose I could have used more; cabs are difficult to find and less appealing because of all the traffic. If I had it to do over again, I would probably book something closer to the center, even if it meant paying more or staying in a less nice hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in this great hotel. Just beside Villa Borghese, walking distance to all the old city historical landmarks including Piazza Popolo and the Spanish steps, but without the tourist price. Great location! Cross the bridge and you’re in Prati in less than 15 min and 20-30 walk to Trastevere along the river for some great local eats. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is beautifully designed. Has a beautiful bar and restaurant, with a courtyard. Comfortable large rooms appointed nicely. Definitely recommend.

Stayed the weekend in Albergo Etico Roma on the recommendation of friends.

It is a very comfortable and welcoming hotel with very modern and clean rooms.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and it's less than 15 minutes walk to the centre of the city yet in a nice secluded neighbourhood.

The value for this quality of hotel in the location that it holds really is excellent too.

I would happily stay again here and would recommend to all.

Location close to Piazza del Popolo and almost on the River Tiber is ideally suited for sightseeing. Metro close by, but in walking distance of all the major sights. New, modern, and spacious room, service excellent and very good breakfast! But if you cannot sleep next to a noisy tramway street, I'm sure you just have to ask for a more quiet room before booking.

We stayed here mainly due to the policy of employing staff with disabilities which was something I loved to read about before.

The metro is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which was ideal for travelling the city.

The room was clean, bed was comfy, the staff friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood, yet too close to the city center. 3-4 bus and tram stops in a half block distances, so you can visit all sites (like Colosseum, Vatican, piazza Venezia) easily. Metro station 4 blocks away.
Excellent and spacy rooms, very clean. Friendly stuff. Nice breakfast. Relaxing spots in the lobby and the quiet yard. Would visit it again.

Could not have a table in the bar for a drink. All booked by non residents. Was told to sit outside or in reception. Words fail me. We have paid top price for several nights and to be told to take a seat in the garden at 8.15 at night is rediculous.

This is a modern hotel with very neat, comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff are friendly, very helpful and fluent in English . Breakfast is very good, if not expansive in choice. The hotel is less than ten minutes by foot from the train station - very convenient for quickly getting to the tourist sites (Vatican city, Coloseum etc.)
Highly recommended!
