"Palazzo Manfredi is a magnificent historic villa that today serves as five-star hotel offering the tradition and warm hospitality of the Counts Manfredi. Every detail is a family jewel, from the spectacular view of the Colosseum, to the courtesy of our staff, the classic and contemporary elegance of the decor, and our sophisticated restaurant on one of Rome's most romantic terraces. History is on our doorstep, but true luxury is being part of a great family's history."

Neighbourhood
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

Excellent! Sumptuous appointments, comfort and luxury! Very friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay better. Best breakfast of our trip with awesome view! Great location close to colosseum and cafes/restaurants. Can't say enough praise. Wish we could have stayed longer! Only little hard to find but if you find colosseum it's just down the road. Thank you so much!

Other than the tub situation in the Colosseum view rooms (which is a little weird and awkward in the rooms with the tub) this is an awesome hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The public rooms are just as beautiful as the guest rooms and the breakfast was delicious. The location was great. There were many sites and restaurants within walking distance and we always felt safe. This really is the splurge hotel that you deserve.

This hotel has a superlative view and location. Magic can be had on the dinner/breakfast room balcony with mesmerizing views of the Coliseum. The hotel is decorated in tasteful ways one would expect from an extravagant city like Rome. The best part of the experience was the manager Giacomo. He helped us plan every detail of our trip to perfect, as we did several tours of Rome and a day trip to Naples to view works of art by Caravaggio. Rome is a dizzying city where you would never find the hidden Caravaggio or Rafael painting in a maze of churches on your own, so Giacomo's help in booking the tours were indispensable. Come to this hotel if you have good taste and want good service!

My daughter and I weren’t staying at this hotel but decided to came here for a cocktail at the bar and to get a good view of the colosseum. We were advised to be there by 6:10-6:15 before the bar opened at 6:30pm as it is especially busy on a Saturday night. We were seated in a lovely room off the foyer when we arrived just after 6 and once the bar opened, were taken to our seats by the maitre d’. We weren’t in the front row facing the colosseum as others had arrived even earlier but we liked where we were sitting and still had a great view. I ordered the ‘Dutch bubble’ cocktail with a lychee liqueur base and it was gorgeous while my daughter had the pina colada which she enjoyed. Cocktails are around 25 euros each. We were given a number of nice snacks with our drinks. Olives, home made crisps, a miniature burger each, raw fish. These, combined with the attentive service and fabulous view in a prime Rome location, for us made the experience well worth doing.

Yes, nice location and beautiful hotel...wait for it...But the staff was marginal at best. Not well organized not very friendly and not helpful. The only shinning star at the hotel was the gentleman who checked us in, His name was Raphael and he is the only one that was professional. BTW the breakfast was not really good.

Does the annex rooms have a view of the colosseum?
There are only a few rooms with Colosseum views. I splurged because I was in Rome! Send an email to the hotel because they answer quickly

Can you just go for an evening drink so we can watch the sunset ?
Yes, you can, but you are not able to sit at the tables overlooking the Collesium. You will be shown to a lovely table in the bar, which doesn’t directly overlook the fantastic view, but it’s still very nice.

Hello, Is breakfast included in the apartment rates?
We were in a room rather than an apartment where breakfast was included. Do not know about apartments. Email the hotel direct. They were very good and prompt at replying to queries. Hope that helps.
