We stayed at A Touch of Rome for 2 nights during a 2 week tour of Italy. It is in a great location for the Vatican, and other sites were accessible either by foot or bus. From the moment we arrived we could not fault the service we received, everyone was so helpful, especially Daniele who practically sorted out our...

Put simply Livio and Daniele are the best hosts anyone could ask for. They really care about their guests and will do everything they can to make your time in Rome enjoyable. Follow their advice and recommendations and you can't go wrong. They deserve to be so highly rated. Big thanks for sorting out the transfer back to the airport...

This B&B is great, we had the smallest room was sufficient for our needs. We did peak in the others and they seemed to be a bit bigger. All were so clean though, which is what was most important to us. There is free wifi, but you can also use the internet through the TV, which was so useful. This...

I stayed here with my husband for three nights last week. We couldn't have been more pleased with this place. The room was pretty big and I thought more modern then they appeared in the pictures. The view and location were amazing. The doors have apparently been upgraded and are soundproof. It was very clean and the breakfast was great....

my husband and I stayed in "a touch of rome" at the end of may for 5 nights in rooms 3 for the first 3 nights and then we moved to room num 2. although room num 3 is the smallest of the rooms - it's still more than enough for a couple, with a spacious bed, comfortable place for...

Yes that is right! My wife and I did a quick and admittedly rushed one day and night stay in Rome following our cruise. After a hot and hectic train ride to Rome from the coast we were greeted warmy by Daniele and made to feel immediately comfortable that he was going to steer us in the right direction as...

Our family of four spent 7 nights at A View of Rome B&B and could not have asked for a better experience or a more courteous and professional staff. We were promptly greeted in the Rome airport by the car service arranged by the Simona – even though our flight was delayed. Upon our arrival at the B&B we were...

This was our first trip to Rome and the visit was enhanced by Daniele who made us feel immediately welcome. Daniele equipped us with a map and lots of advice about the location of tourist sites, transport and good places to eat. The advice regarding the tourist sites was invaluable and saved us hours of waiting in queues in the...

Daniele, Livio and Filippo have warm, bright personalities and made us feel right at home. They could not have been more helpful with great restaurant choices, sightseeing ideas and directions and breakfasts cooked exactly to our wishes. Location has buses and taxis right outside and is so close to the Vatican that we loved wandering around well-lit St Peter's piazza...

I stayed at "A view of Rome" about a month ago and let me say we couldn't of picked a better place! It is in walking distance from the Vatican and and it was only a short bus ride to the Colosseum. The people there are amazing. Filippo was so nice and very helpful! He provided us with everything we...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
