I'd read the reviews and thought we didn't mind as it would just be somewhere to sleep, but it was awful and scary I urge you not to stay here,
The area is so rough with a lot of gangs outside, we got dropped off...More
We stayed here for 3 nights and we were very disappointed. We didn't expect luxury but what we did get was not worth paying for. We expected somewhere clean and safe as we knew we weren't going to spend much time in the room.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
