I had a lovely stay in this typical roman style abode . The location was perfect for me to be away from the huge touristy crowd and yet close to the historic centre. I walked thrice to the colosseum from this place.

I love this place. I booked it b/c of it's proximity to Roma Termini, but it's close to most of the sights that you want to see if you're in Rome. The space is sweet, comfortable, and well maintained. Stefano, the guy who checks you...More
We initially had difficulty spotting this B&B, despite directions from Stefano, as it is on the first floor of a shared building, hidden behind huge brown doors with no external signage. But it was exactly where it was shown to be on the information provided...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
