Nestled in a prime location, the Navona Palace Luxury Inn garners high marks from travelers for its proximity to attractions, though the vibrant nightlife does bring a note of caution about noise. Guests laud the attentive staff and commend the hotel's cleanliness, noting rooms as particularly spotless. While the provided breakfast is a hit, some visitors suggest enhancements in room amenities. Despite mixed feelings on value, due to room quality and noise, the overall atmosphere remains charming, with the bustling surroundings contributing to a lively experience.

On arrival the hotel is unassuming from the outside and can be easily missed (like many of the hotels and shops). The staff were polite and the check-in process was easy, we were upgraded to a suite.

The room itself was modern and comfortable, the only thing that was disconcerting was the grease stained headboard, but apart from that the room was clean and fresh,

Some reviews complained about the noise from the bars and restaurants in the evenings, so we braced ourselves for that. Surprisingly we never heard any outside noise and even checked outside to see if there was hustle and bustle as it was so quiet, which there was. The windows had additional internal windows and thick wooden shutters, these looked quite new so possibly in response to complaints, but in our experience zero noise.

The room was cleaned on a daily basis and the cleaning staff seemed to make an effort to arrange our things nicely, such as placing the teddy bear on the Childs bed, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is nicely situated, there is a huge selection of restaurants within a minutes walk and the Piazza Navona is just a 2 minute walk away, with more restaurants. In the evenings its a nice place to walk around and much more lively but still very much a family friendly atmosphere.

Only negative issue with the hotel/room was the lack of an iron and no USB charging sockets; however we found the kiosk stall directly opposite the hotel had plug adaptors and usb cables for sale, just don't forget to haggle on the prices.

Overall a pleasant experience and comfortable stay.

I visited here with my mother and two sisters for a long weekend. First of all the location is fantastic, you literally step out to bars and restaurants and close to all the main activities! Due to the location it can be very noisy of an evening, this did not bother me or my family, they do have double widows and shutters which help. Our room met all expectations, there was a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed, which was made for us prior to arrival. There is also a small fridge, coffee machine , towels, slippers and toiletries! The room was cleaned daily to a high standard with towels and bedding changed daily.
Breakfast is served next door 7-10am, this is your typical Italian breakfast, with meats, cheeses, breads, pastries etc. I really enjoyed the breakfast ! Although we found the coffee machine a little challenging to use!
Finally the staff were extremely helpful, we had a small issue with the safe when we arrived, they resolved this immediately, there is always someone available on reception should you need any help! Overall, a fantastic hotel and would highly recommend.

Just back from a 4 night stay, there was 3 of us in a one bedroom room with a living room area where the couch was pulled out for an extra bed for myself, which was very comfy indeed after walking around the streets of Rome. The hotels location is amazing, everything is walkable, lots of things are a 15/20 minute walk, longest walk is to the colosseum which is a 30 minute walk. If you are doing a bus tour I think all the buses stop at castel St Angelo which is the closest from the hotel and is only a 5 minute walk away. We used the big bus which stopped there and the citysightseeing bus. There's loads of restaurants and bars on the doorstep of the hotel, everyone is very welcoming around here and the bar workers and hotel folk seem to have a great relationship so that adds to the friendly atmosphere, especially if you go to the bar opposite 'famo pace' lovely guy who looked after us and knew our order off by heart by our 2nd night. Even though theses bars were open till maybe 2 in the morning, we never heard any noise from outside in our room, room 104. The windows are double glazing and there are thick wooden shutters on them u can either leave open or close. Overall a great place to stay and be able to see and do everything on your wishlist. The breakfast was also a great way to start the day, we had a couple of days where we were there at 9:30ish and also we were there for it opening at 7:30am and all the times there was plenty there and they were still able to top things up. The only con I would say is there was no milk in the room for the coffee machine, just a small issue as we could have picked up milk in one of the shops nearby and put in our fridge, we just kept forgetting lol. Also I would remind folk that when you check out there will be a city tax charge to pay in cash only. We were there monday- Friday and paid €36.00. I also got intouch with the hotel via email, asking about arranging a special thing as it was my mum and dad's 40th anniversary and also my mums birthday while we were there, I also booked a airport transfer to the hotel via email which was a very smooth process and an easy and less hassle way of getting to and from the hotel.

This hotel is a pearl in the very heart of Rome. I tried many similar places in the historical center and Navona Palace is by far the best. All looks in very good shape and perfectly maintained, differently from most places in old Roman buildings I have tried earlier. The rooms are spacious and very well organized, with everything you may need, including easy sockets for electronics, space for suitcases and a large closet to hang clothes. The bathroom looked fresh and recently renovated, and there was a towels heater already on. The room temperature was perfect, we visited end of December and nights are cold in some Roman apartments in this period, but not at Navona Palace. We stayed for New Year's eve and we all slept good, even if our room was located over a very lively street (with a beautiful view). We had help to find our way around, thanks to maps printed by the hotel (google map sometimes is tricky in Rome). We had help also to book the transfer to the airport. Unlimited amount of espresso in the room and the agreement with Bar Del Fico next door makes for a very inexpensive and rich breakfast in a lovely cafe' -rather than in a boring hotel's restaurant. For the quality of the service, the amazing location and the tidiness of the place, the cost is a bargain, you really feel you made a good deal, when comparing with nearby hotels and apartments without the same quality of service. Not to forget the staff: always around at any time of the day and night, smiling, talkative, and super efficient. Could not find one single thing to improve. We will be back!

This is a a great hotel very central restaurants, bars, shops etc all around and all the main sights vatican, colleseum, pantheon etc within a good even walking distance from the hotel in each direction. The staff where friendly and check in was Ray, we had a few issues with our room key card and the porter couldn't do enough to help he was so helpful and apologetic , the breakfast next door was pretty standard. The room itself was spacious and the shower was big with great water pressure , coffee machine with expresso only not much good for me I like a cup of tea or atleast some milk on my coffee there is a little fridge so this is something they could provide free of charge . My only complaints are the prices for the mini fridge €2.50 for a bottle of water which is €1 in the shop almost next door. We got 6 large bottles for that price in the supermarket a few minutes walk away . Secondly the noise is an issue, being central with the bars etc I guess it's expected but going to bed at 11pm you can hear music and people taking etc in the outside seating areas of the bars and again in the morning garbage men , etc the noise would possibly put me off booking again wr where on the 3rd floor aswell so didn't request to be moved because we don't believe moving up 1 floor would make much more difference. Also it was at the back of the hotel as in from our terrace you couldn't see anything just the glass roof of the back of the restaurant so we wasn't at the front of the hotel either so I dnt think any room would of been much quieter (I do believe I also sent an email requesting a quiet room after seeing other reviews ) so assuming they acted on that email prior to our arrival we should of been I'm a quiet room anyway.

Stayed here with my family for 4 days just before Christmas 2019. A great central location just a stone’s throw away from the Piazza Navona but also within walking distance of most of Rome’s top attractions. Some really great coffee spots, shops and restaurants nearby also! Breakfast was average at a restaurant next door but good enough for some basic morning fuel. We were given the top floor superior rooms with one of the rooms having a lovely massive terrace - in summer this would be beautiful. A few setbacks but none that would deter me from returning: on the weekend it gets VERY NOISY outside and so impossible to sleep and then at 4am there’s another wake up call with the rubbish collectors throwing glass bottles into the truck.

My partner booked the Navona Palace Luxury Inn as a surprise for my birthday and it did not disappoint. A real gem of a hotel right in the historic centre of Rome, literally minutes walk from Piazza Navona and very well placed to walk to all main points of interest. The hotel is small enough to feel intimate and is a very sympathetic restoration of a 17th century building. The room was spacious and modern with a separate living area and a television in both bedroom and living room. I expected there might be some noise being right in the centre of the city but the window units with built in shutters are fabulous when closed blocking out the noise of city nightlife. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality cotton bedding and comfortable pillows, we certainly slept well in our particular room. There is air conditioning in the room that can be controlled from reception, all you need to do is phone down. Bedding and towels are changed, bathroom cleaned, floor and all surfaces washed daily. The staff are very friendly and helpful dealing with any enquiries promptly. I had emailed the hotel beforehand to ask what time breakfast was from and received a reply straight away to say it was from 7-10:30am plus a whole lot of other very helpful information. Breakfast is served next door in the Bar Del Fico which is nicely decorated with a modern, eclectic twist. There was a good choice at breakfast, the waitress was lovely and even squeezed fresh orange juice for us. There are many restaurants nearby, we found an absolute winner serving fabulous handmade pastas and the freshest of ingredients (I'll post another review on this) and there is a deli right on the corner beside the hotel where you can pick up a whole host of treats. I've never been to Rome before and if (or should I say when?) we return I would be delighted to stay at this hotel again. Oh, and I will add that November is a great month to visit, not too busy and still warm enough to wear lighter clothing but be sure to take comfortable shoes as we averaged 16km a day on foot! Thank you Navona Palace for a fabulous stay.

Absolutely amazing hotel in an amazing location with friendly staff !

Only issue is I would avoid the breakfast cafe in the morning next door to the hotel as the food isn’t great however 30 seconds from the hotel there is an amazing cafe that sells amazing breakfast called Trentaquattro Roma XXXIV which is the better option and it is also cheap !!

However besides that the hotels is amazing, rooms spotless, staff on hand if anything needed, staff sorted out any any issues we had immediately and made our stay worth it

The hotels location is perfect, a 30 second walk takes you to piazza Navona which has many different food options and all tourist locations are within at least a 30 MINUTE WALK

Trevi - 15 mins
Pantheon 10 mins
Vatican City 20 mins
Colosseum 30 mins

Some people complain about noise coming from the bars outside at night but we had no issue when we closed the windows and shutters as it completely dampened the noise out

This hotel is the perfect location for travelling every day ! The hotel will also book you a taxi on request if needed !

Will definitely recommend to people and will be returning in the future

Room was clean comfortable with enough wardrobe space, big windows with shutters, good size bathroom with shower and a bath, cleaned everyday, staff were helpful and welcoming, good breakfast just next door just ask reception for a ticket on the morning staff in restaurant were very welcoming and food was a mixture of cerial, bacon eggs sausage breads with toaster lots of fresh fruit and a continental section, tea coffee juice etc.
Fabulous location easy access to all routes yes noisy at night with music and partying I would take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper but it is situated on a main street so expect some noise.
Taxi available at request at reception to airport will take approx 1 hour.
Rome is beautiful. We planned a daily itinerary before we came, so we broke it down in sections day by day it worked perfectly, visiting popular attractions in advance we brought tickets for Vatican colliseum and 72 hour hop on hop off I would do this separately if we come again as didn't really use the bus we walked everywhere 35,000 steps a day average (just buy a day pass for the bus) good old google maps works wonders and we walked down most little streets.
It is very busy and yes you get the street vendors 1000 times a day but you do most cities.
We also went to an opera which was fantastic booked this through get your guide just WOW.
Best place we eat was ponte & parione went back twice it was that nice n we to a tic toc recommended which was terrible and paid 3 times as much for the meal, ponte & parione is 2 mins from the hotel fresh delicious pasta and pizza definitely worth a visit 😋
Mr 100 tirasmau take out we had also worth a visit n never a massive que.
Take a bottle you can fill water all around Rome
Visit galleria borghese early morning if you can gets busy after 10am 5 euro each for the rowing boats walk round the park it's beautiful.
We have had a fantastic time enjoy xx

Located on a narrow cobblestone street in the middle of the oldest neighborhood of Rome, you will find this gem of a hotel. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and independent shops, the hotel is a short walk to most of the major sites. Piazza Navona is a short few blocks away. Walk a little further and you find the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Go in the other direction to the Ponte St. Angelo, leading you over the river to the Castel St. Angelo. and Vatican City. The colosseum is a 25 minute walk in another direction.
The Navona Palace Luxury Inn has 48 rooms in four categories: Standard, Deluxe, Suites and Superior. I stayed in an interior suite, eliminated most street noise. if you are traveling with a group or family, book a cluster of rooms with connecting hallway and a door to lock at end of hall. For a splurge, choose one of the four Superior rooms on the top floor, a two room suite with large terraces overlooking the city lights at night. Rooms are clean, sparsely decorated with high ceilings and nice amenities. King size bed was firm but comfortable and there is plenty of water pressure to go around. Suites and Superior rooms have an efficiency kitchen. There is a spa in the lower level, I will plan to visit next trip! Staff was helpful and accommodating. Perfect for friends and families looking for a walkable location in a four star hotel. As a travel advisor, I will continue to book my clients into this gem of a hotel conveniently located in the center of the city!
