The location can't be beat: it's virtually across the street from the Colosseum and walking distance to both the A and B Metro lines. We got anywhere in the city very easily from here. The rooms are modern, but well-decorated -- nice touches like old exposed brick and original rafters compliment the modern style. Fridge and AC. It's also handy...

Leaning out the balcony to see the view was a joy. The location is stunning. walked from the train station. Staff friendly and adjoining restaurant is great value and pleasant to eat at for all meals. We were three but still fit in the room which is ideally suited for a romantic couple. The soundproofing is very affective and completely...

The location of this hotel is amazing; it is literally across the street from the colosseum and a few minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and there is room to unpack your bags. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. But...if you plan to turn in for the night prior to...

The room was very modern and extremely well done with the exception of the window shared between the main office and the bedroom. The lights stay on overnight and there was no shade between the office and us so our room was light even when our lights were out. The hotel boosts Colosseum views but we did not have them....

This is in a fantastic location and has been recently renovated. It is opposite the Colosseum and close to transport and walking distance (15 mins) to the city landmarks including museums, Trevy fountain and the Spanish steps. The rooms are modern and a good size. The staff are great and very helpful - I will definitely stay here again when...

It was really great to be able to stay at the 2nd Floor on my long weekend trip to Rome. I booked the Michelangelo - at the front of the hotel and had an amazing view of the Colosseum (sticking my head out of the window) and also of the adjacent ruins. Andrea was very nice to deal with for...

Great and helpful staffs, with good location close to colosseo. Rooms are good but depend on your choice. If you prefer silent nights, choose rooms facing inward. Otherwise, they have rooms facing busy streets and beautiful vista. We rented twice for different dates, which means something of special.

We are very sorry for this bad experience, the visitor found a faulty shower in the room booked but the staff tried to find the best solution.First of all we tried to solve the issue by proposing a change in a room of the same rank, we offered to them (very willingly) a meal in the hotel restaurant; we applied...

The rooms were clean, good beds and the staff are the most friendly people I've ever met. It's located on top of the most famous gay bar of Rome, but the isolation works excellent! It's one of the cheaper hotels in Rome with the best quality! I will certainly go back...

I'm pleased to let you know that we had such a great experience in Rome, and after days travelling around Europe it's always good when you find a place where you feel like home. Well that's how we felt staying at B &B Second Floor, with it's new stylish bedrooms just finished few months earlier. The room is not only...
