We absolutely loved staying at Maribell B&B. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The host Marina is a warm, gentle and helpful person who made us feel welcome right away. If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Marina was so nice. She clearly loves owning a B&B and it shows. She is quiet and...

I just returned from Rome after 3 nights stay at Maribell. I have traveled around the world, many times solo, with different levels of stays. This is the best travel experience I have ever had. I first met Marina through email by a referral in Sept before leaving the country. After a 2-week training in Orvieto with beautiful locations and...

Marina greeted us by helping with our luggage and giving us a delicious cappuccino - a perfect way to start our stay in Rome.. Her B&B was charming, clean and welcoming. We were delighted with our stay there and recommend it highly. Marina saved us hours and many euros with her helpful guidance and suggestions on transportation.

We just recently returned from a 2-week vacation to Italy and spent our first 4-nights in Rome at the Maribell B&B an absolute gem! We too were directed to Maribell by A View of Rome and "Bravo" it was wonderful. Marina's personality resonates throughout and if you look up "service" in the dictionary you might just find Marina's picture!! Service...

We stayed at Maribell, a quiet time for Rome and shorter queues and decent weather. We chose Maribell because of all the positive reviews and we are quite picky when it comes to cleanliness, service, decor and size of rooms and even then we were impressed! This BB is indeed a precious find. We were able to organise an airport...

I have just returned from Rome where my husband and I had a flovely weekend staying in Maribell. Marina the owner has made a fanatstic effort setting up this b&b which is beautifully decorated. Although it is not situated in the busy side of Rome it is very close to the river and most of the famous sites can be...

This was the first stop on our Honeymoon and I couldn't ask for a better way to get the ball rolling. Marina (the owner) had a bottle of champagne ready and waiting for us in our room with lots of other little treats to nibble on too. The rooms were clean and modern and really quite comfortable. It was hard...

Marina could not have been a better host, and has put much love and attention into the creation of her B&B. As has been mentioned, she was responsive and helpful throughout the booking process, and even more so when we were in Rome. From helping with directions, places to eat, train tickets - everything - it was like having a...

Marina, the owner of Maribell B&B was responsive and helpful from the very first e-mail. The B&B itself is perfectly situated between the historic city centre of Rome and the Vatican in a beautiful residential and shopping area, and not at all touristy. It is a small, cosy B&B with modern, but welcoming design. The room with en-suite loo, bidet...

This very small B and B is very well done and brand new as of early September. I found this place as a recommendation of the well regarded “Rome with a View”. I believe this is an very good value at 120 Euros for a spotless new room…spotless bathroom. Everything is new and well done. I even like the bed...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
