Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as
visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.

I have in the past years alnd just recently stayed at the Atlante Star Hotel yet again. They used to do pick up from the airport, but no longer offer this service. They do continue to offer Airport drop off at a cost, which when I used it was at a cost of 20€ pp. On Arrival I booked a private car service on arrival and this was as cheap for 2 people as was a shuttle. It was also faster and more pleasant. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much.
