First of all I'd like to say a massive thanks to Marco and Lina for making us feel so welcome. They were never short of advice for things to do and were more than friendly! The room we stayed in was kept very clean, the breakfast kept us filled up until lunch, the shower was perfect and the WIFI is... More

The owners of this lovely little B&B, Marco and his wife, were extremely friendly and welcoming. They would do anything to make us feel welcome and at home and brought us a lovely breakfast spread into our room every morning with fresh pastries, yoghurt, coffee, bread cheese and meat. The room was basic but we knew this and found the... More

Stay here if you want a bed and breakfast in a good location and bargain price. Marco and Lina were lovely hosts, made restaurant recommendations and let us keep our bags in the b&b for the day after we checked out. The downsides were that the bed was a little uncomfortable and the shower wasn't very strong. You also eat... More

This place is all around perfect. It's located just next to a metro station, and less than 15 minutes walking from Vatican City. There are many cheap and nice restaurants around. The rooms are big and comfortable, the breakfast is even bigger and really good. Best of all, the owners are awesome people. I'm awful at remembering names, so I... More

I visited B&B Gaius Roma from the 12/07/2015 for 3 nights, and it was so much better than expected. The beds were comfortable, Macro and Lina were two of the loveliest people I have ever met as well as incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and travel, and the breakfasts were big enough that we did not even... We stayed here for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it. The first 2 mornings we couldn't get the breakfast because of tours in the city, and we left them a note saying we would be out and when we should handle payment and that they shouldn't think about breakfast for us since we would be out early. When we... More

Gaius Roma is a great B&B from top to bottom. Marco and Lina are so friendly and nice. They deliver a delicious, filling breakfast directly to your room. Rooms are elegant. The bathroom is clean and recently furnished. The bathroom is shared by all the rooms, but we never had to fight for a spot. Though the B&B is ideal... More

A short walk to the Vatican- maybe 10 minutes. The metro is right at your doorstep. Wonderful restaurants nearby that the owner will be more than happy to recommend. A wonderfully friendly and relaxing stay. Clean, great WiFi, a simple but filling breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
