Great location, right next to piazza Navona. The rooms are a bit small, the bathrooms are new, and the breakfast was included. A buffet with 3 types of cereals, iogur, juices, freshly made coffee, criossants and bread with butter, jam, cheese, ham, salami... great deal in the city center. 100€ per person per night.

We finished our trip to Tuscany with a final day in Rome. We stayed at Hotel Portoghesi for the 2nd time in 2 years. Our first experience was better than the first one. We never received our free bottle of wine after asking for it. We reserved the junior suite which was fine but the AC would not go below...

We stayed five days and enjoyed all it had to offer. The room was clean, and comfortable. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was great. It was to cold to eat outside on the terrace, but the breakfast room was cozy. I would stay there again. Great location. The only minus was the pillows were uncomfortable.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet district. The staff is professional and competent. The rooms are kept extremely well every day. The breakfast room at the top of the hotel is very nice. This was a spotlessly clean, charming hotel located in the heart of Rome, just north of the Piazza Navona. My room was a single, with a full bed that was comfortable, if a little hard, a desk at the window, plenty of light, and a large wardrobe in which I could keep my clothes organized. I never used the TV....

We stayed three nights in a clean, quiet, comfortable - if small - double room. The location is conveniently near Piazza Navona and the many sights near there. It is also close to useful bus routes. We were lucky to enjoy some early April warm weather and breakfast outside on the rooftop terrace.

We stayed 4 nights in the Hotel Portoghesi and we were very pleased with our choice. The location is perfectly situated in the Piazza Navona area equidistant between the Spanish Steps and the Vatican. The Piazza Navona is a 2 minute walk away and a great place to be in the evening. A few more minutes gets you to the...

Great hotel in the center of Rome, walking distance to everything. Very friendly and welcoming staff. One of our best vacations ever! From breakfast to room comfort, everything was excellent. The room we got was spacious enough to fit the 4 of us. If we come back to Rome, we will definitely stay in this hotel again. One of our...

We just spent three nights at the Hotel Portoghesi and could not have been more pleased. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff accommodating and patient with what must have been the same questions they'd heard a million times before. The location is ideal and everything from the Vatican to the colosseum within walking distance. Before you head out...

That, plus a gracious staff in the breakfast room and at the reception desk — and then a lively neighborhood just outside the door in whatever direction you might choose — make the Hotel Portoghesi a perfect pick while visiting...
