We took a taxi to the hotel. It was very easy and enjoyable. I have taken a taxi every time I have been staying in Rome.

No. The nearest one is at Piazza di Spagna, a 10 minute walk.

At least not in our room. I would write to hotel and ask if they can provide one.

"Check to be sure the AC is actually ON before you book, cannot control it in your own room."
