We loved the location and had an amazing view of The Pantheon from our room. We had a great room and was very clean. The elevators are a bit slow so maybe consider that if you're wanting to stay on a high floor. Sometimes we would have to take the stairs because it was taking so long. The front desk...

I stayed at this hotel six years ago and again was delighted with everything about my stay. The location is perfect, not only its position in the square but also how close everything is. I walked everywhere from here, l didn't catch a train, bus or taxi I just walked. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast...

Really high quality hotel in superb location. The Pantheon is right outside! Very helpful staff, superb breakfast for non vegans (not so hot for Vegan options although the soya cappuccino was great) Very comfortable bed, clean, great view. I would definitely stay here again on further trips to Rome.

Excellent service, tidy (if a bit small) rooms and outstanding staff at every level. They were courteous and knowledgeable. Helped us decide on daily "to-see" list and my Italian is absent. We felt very spoiled to have lucked into this place. A special note about the bartender Michele (aka Michael ). Pours a great drink and has limitless stories. Please...

We loved the Albergo!! Imagine a 6 story grand hotel overlooking the best preserved temple from Antiquity on a beautiful Piazza in the heart of Rome's most historic district, with a great breakfast included - this and more is the wonderful Albergo del Senato. We splurged for the junior suite on the 6th floor and got a corner room with...

Recently stayed double superior room for two adults; directly faced the Pantheon, and Piazza della Rotunda; lively piazza durning the day, but no issues with noise late at night. Breakfast was fresh and abundant; dinner not served in the hotel, but many good choices nearby. The staff made several recommendations for dinner, and we were never disappointed. Nice rooftop seating...

The Albergo del Senato was a wonderful place to stay in central Rome. All of the staff were caring and treat guests as if you are in their own home. My birthday was on one of the days that we were there and they sent me a bottle of Prosseco! What a wonderful surprise! Mauro was so helpful each evening...

I booked for 3 nights and asked for one of the rooms with a balcony. WOW! What a view! The Pantheon was right there close enough to touch. The hotel has been completely tastefully remodeled but due to the age of the building, the rooms tended to be just a bit small; HOWEVER, who cared! We were in the oldest...

Wasn't sure what to expect from an albergo, which sounds modest. But it is surely **** standard in a perfect location. We paid for a room on 6th floor overlooking the Pantheon. Wondered about noise at night in the centre of a capital city, but this was not a problem and we had the window open. It was the seagulls...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
