Compared to other hotels in the historic centre of Rome, Del Senato is usually a good deal. Excellent location, modern rooms, good service. However, unless you are guaranteed a room facing the Pantheon, look elsewhere. As a regular to this hotel, I have noticed a...More

The location couldn‘t be better. Very well maintained hotel, beautiful modern rooms, big bathroom, excellent breakfast. Very friendly reception. Would definitely love to stay again in this hotel. Highly recommended.
Albergo del Senato enjoys an absolutely fantastic location in a really historic part of Rome. Lots of local attractions and landmarks are within walking distance. You will find quite a few very good restaurants in different categories. And on top of all that you will...More
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.

Hello......I don't know what the star system represents in Rome.....maybe the size of the hotel? This. hotel is wonderful - we've stayed here twice. the locations great! The rooms are well-equipped, the staff is friendly, there are no downsides that come to mind. After visiting many wonderful. hotels in Europe, the only category that the hotel fell short was the breakfast. The breakfast room was crowded and the food choices were limited. Again, I am comparing the hotel with some very high-end hotels in Europe. One of my very favorite memories of Rome is sitting in the rooftop bar in the morning while reading the paper and watching the rest of the city wake-up (the bar opens later but you can sit there whenever you want). I highly recommend this hotel, my husband and I love it! Happy Traveling.
