Used this hotel for our 4 night sight seeing stay in Rome during interrailing. Location- Well located for us as it was a 2 min walk from Termini railway station. Very easy to get the metro to the colosseum, Vatican City and Trevi Fountain etc. Surrounding area has some cheap restaurants and cafes but if looking for nice shops and...

Went with our family and booked 3 rooms. The air-conditioning in all the rooms were not working. Despite many requests for them to check nothing was done. Breakfast at the hotel was not great. There was wifi available in the lobby only which kept dropping, making it impossible to use. The water in the shower kept varying between extreme heat...

The hotel was clean and staff was welcoming. Location is a big plus as it is in walking distance to Termini train station as well as the adjacent Metro and bus stops. Breakfast is more on the two star side, but there are plenty of options in the area.

Location is good and I think the personnel (in reception and breakfast room) really did their best. Room and hotel overall was clean and breakfast more or less sufficient, albeit there was easily a queue for the coffee machine and tableware often ran out (knives). WiFi worked in the lobby and there was a machine where you could buy refreshments...

We visited the hotel with my wife on October 2014. The hotel stands near the main train station and next to mini markets, pizzerias and delicatessen shops. It is in close distance to all public transport. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the staff very helpful as it should be based on the Italian culture. I would suggest...

Have read some reviews especially of people losing their possessions, which is really sad, but I can only speak as I find. We had a lovely stay here, the room was a little on the small side but was clean and tidy. Reasonable size bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Breakfast was plentiful, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, fresh bread...

Take care of your belongings in this hotel! I and several other guests lost laptops, ipads etc from our hotel ROOMS. According to hotel staff thieves broke inte the rooms with a screwdriver. Not very likely!

Good location for transport near Termini Station for trains, busses and metro. Liked the bath tub but WiFi only in lobby became a pain. Too many people trying to fill the available couches to make use of the WiFi the breakfast was typical European and always enough.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
