My husband and I immensely enjoyed the nine days we stayed at Loggetta di Trastevere in March. We had the whole apartment to ourselves and felt completely comfortable and at home in its light, spacious, and well-designed rooms. Francesco is a wonderful host: he is extremely courteous, kind, and helpful, but also respects the privacy of his guests. Every morning...

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Rome in June 2015. We stayed at this B&B and we can't say enough about this structure and its owner Francesco. He's really involved in providing the best experience to his guests. He arrived every morning at a time of our choice to prepare a delicious breakfast. He also gave us great...

We stayed at this b&b for five nights stay in May, even though we changed several high-priced hotels during our four weeks trip in Italy, we definitely have spent here the best days of our trip. Me and my friend rented both rooms so we enjoyed the whole apartment ourselves. We received an excellent welcome by the young and charming...

I can't say enough about Francesco and his B&B. We rented the entire apartment(3 rooms). It was spotless, spacious and in a great location. He came and made us breakfast every morning. His english was very good and he was willing to help in any way he could. If I were going to Rome this would be my first choice and...

We loved our four nights at the loggetta. We rented the full lodging - two bedrooms and a shared bath (another bedroom is available too.) Francesco speaks excellent English and responds quickly to email inquiries from the United States. He greeted us promptly on arrival and showed us into a spacious lodging with high ceilings and comfortable furnishings. The location...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights late December-early January and absolutely can confirm all the great things written about it in previous reviews. It is in a great position in a quiet part of Trastevere, a short stroll will take you to a number of bus and tram stops making access to all parts of Rome very...

Myself, boyfriend and sister have stayed at this delightful property for five nights in December. We have travelled through Italy in different cities like Venice, Florence and Siena, and our stay here has been, doubtless, the best experience we had! Both rooms were modern, confortable and stylish. WiFi was great. Trastevere area is fabulous and within walking distance to all...

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Rome and had the pleasure of staying here for all 12 nights. We booked both rooms so we could have the B&B to ourselves. We need not repeat what all the other reviewers have written because all of it remains true. And should we return to the area in the...

This is a wonderful B&B. I can't say enough nice things about Francesco...he was very pleasant, professional and extremely helpful...a fantastic host! The rooms were emacculate and tastefully decorated. The location was great, very nice neighborhood. Walking distance to nice restaurants and the tram. Definitely will stay there again!

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
