I spent four nights here with my mother during our first visit to Rome. I chose the hotel based on good reviews here on Tripadvisor, and the quiet but central location. It exceeded my expectations and we were both very impressed with the cozy ambience, attention to detail, and above all the superb service. Originally they gave us a room...

Outstanding hotel in a friendly neighborhood with a view overlooking the Colosseum. An upgrade to the honeymoon suite made our stay extra special. Breakfast each day was a great way to connect with other travelers each day, and the food offered was excellent and offered something for everyone. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful.

The hotel is basic in many ways, yet unique in others. Location-awesome! Rooms adequate and comfortable. Food lovely. Bar for a drink before dinner. Local restaurants near by for any price tag. We would stay here again!

I went back to Lancelot some 40 years later. Somethings change and though the times require that change, what hasn't changed was the family atmosphere, the warmth, the cleanliness, the attention to details and the smiles and hospitality. Great breakfast with something for everyone. Amazing dinner with other guests. Lancelot was one of the knights of the round table and...

We stayed at the hotel Lancelot for four nights for my mums 70th Birthday. It was perfect. Old school customer service, with extremely helpful staff, who knew when to leave you alone and when to communicate. I loved that. Reading your guests! What was lovely was a happy birthday (unprovoked) from the staff when my mum came down for breakfast,...

This is not a modern or elegant hotel...but it makes up for it by being ideally located 5 minutes from the Colloseum and has a certain old world charm. (I loved the bed coverings and headboard of blue toile!) Breakfast is included (yoghurt, cereal, fruits and juice, breads, eggs, etc.) and there is a small bar for an afternoon or...

Very good breakfast, nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The street was quiet and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. It is close to to the Colosseum and the respective metro station as well. I recommend for tourists and for business stay as well.
