Travellers' Choice
Situated in the heart of the historic centre, Hotel Navona Roma enjoys a privileged position only a few steps from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo de’ Fiori and the other main tourist attractions in the Eternal City, all within walking distance. Stay at Hotel Navona and immerse yourself in history. This historic 15th century building stands on the site of the Baths of Agrippa, the first bath complex in the city, which was built by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and opened in 12 BC. The hotel has been completely refurbished, while retaining aspects that reflect the glorious past of the Eternal City. Several rooms feature frescoed ceilings, and ancient Roman bricks are still visible in the communal areas. The hotel provides different types of room such as Small Double, Standard, Superior and Family Rooms. We've chose this hotel for the location, decor and previous reviews. I must say that we were pleasantly impressed by the cleanliness and silence we found. The staff were very knowledgeable and put us at ease right away. We will definitely be back

We first came in 2018 and spent 5 days. Came back in 2019 for 10 days. Michael and his staff we’re great! Took care of everything even some problems that we encountered. Italian’s are the most accommodating in all the world. We are so sorry that we could not come back in 2020 due to contraviruse 19 but hope to be back in 2021. We hope and pray for the staff at this hotel that they and their families were spared from the terrible effects of pandemic This hotel is centrally located and great for visitors, not really for business guests but great for couples on vacation!

The location is really centrale and the employees are nice. But some points have to be know before booking : no insonorisation so we hear everything (the neighbor taking its shower, the receptionist, people that past by on the corridor, ...). Also, rooms are really small (my bed was taking the 3/4 of the room) and a bit humid, the breakfast is quite basic (the minimum asked). So to sum up, nice location but the living experience might be better.

Dear Margot, thank you for the time spent to share your recent experience here at Hotel Navona. We are sorry to hear that the room seemed small to you, but it was the room you booked Standard Double Room 16sm that is the size in a boutique hotel. Every comment is important for us to continue improving the service we offer to our guest. We hope to be able to welcome you again in the furture and offer the best service. Kind regards, HN - Staff

I understand there are mixed reviews about this hotel, after reading them, I reserved a superior room in main building, not the economy one. A very old building in the back street, very calm, no noise, no view neither. room and bathroom was very big for Rome standards, next to Piazza Navona, close to Pantheon, easy walk to most sites. Elevator small but new, worked well, 3rd floor room was renovated with a charming old ceiling. Breakfast room was small, food was average, but in Rome save your appetite for delicious food outside. There are rooms on second floor even around kitchen. Staff was very friendly and helpful, when my Mom got sick they called a doctor, followed up, even heated the soup I bought. Thanks to Denise and Michael.

The Navona Piazza is a wonderful area to stay - the piazza is beautiful with lots of lively cafes and gelato shops. It’s also very safe. The hotel staff spoke fluent English and the family room was actually 2 separate but connecting rooms which was good. Location is perfect - we walked to everything. I highly recommend.
