Pierfrancesco and Gianluca treated us as guests in their "home", as Residenza Maritti is. Safe & secure, yet all of Rome is easily accessible on foot or nearby metro system. With the ruins and history of Rome across the street, piazzas & basilicas short walks away, and neighborhood dining and entertainment in every direction, this is the place to stay...

Our second time to stay there and even better than the first! The location is brilliant. The residence is beautiful and most of all the owners are great hosts. The breakfast was lovely too. When we were tired in the evening we only had to to walk a few minutes down the street to excellent and authentic Roman restaurants recommended...

Given the many options available in Rome, we were extraordinarily fortunate to find Residenza Maritti. Located on the edge of the Roman Forum, just a couple of blocks from The Colosseum, and offering easy access to get anywhere, we loved our room and the entire experience. Gianluca Maritti was a great host. Breakfast is right next door in Gianluca's lovely...

When people ask me what I liked best about Rome, I tell them about Residenza Maritti. I'm serious. My sweetest memories from our trip all seem to involve this dreamy, old fashioned guest house. My sister and I sat on the roof deck for hours, surrounded by flowers and sunshine. We could see everything from there. The Roman Forum is...

I was advised that this is the B & B to stay at when in Rome by friends who had stayed previously. They were not wrong- this is a fantastic place to stay whether your first time to Rome or one of many visits you may have had. Fantastic location overlooking the Forum, right up the street from the Coloseum...

We were introduced to this self-catering B&B in 2010. We stayed a month. We had a wonderful time. “We have our favourite rooms at the front of the building. Typical of housing in the Centro Storico the building is right on the one-way very narrow street. Traffic does go by all day long, but at maybe only 5 to 10 kph. Quieter rooms are available in the centre and rear of the building.”
