I actually booked a room at the Richmond Hotel, but the sign on the door directed me to the next entrance. Not until I asked upon check-out the next morning, did I realize that I'd been upgraded from the Richmond to the Rome. It came up because the breakfast for the Hotel de Rome was being served at the Richmond...

You simply can't beat the location of this hotel, it's located right around the corner from the Coliseum. However, I must add that one of the best features of this hotel is not only the modern rooms, but it's also the gentleman who runs the front desk whose name is Fabio, He is oh so helpful, so take full advantage...

After reading some of the reviews we were expecting a tiny room, water all over the bathroom floor and a trek for breakfast. What we found was a pleasant small hotel, with nice bright rooms, not huge but not an issue as it was only a base. The bed was large and comfortable, rooms nice and dark at night with...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights the last weekend of August. Our room was bright, clean and on the top floor. While the room is considered small by American standards, you shouldn't need to stay in your room when in Rome. It provided a large comfy bed, plenty of space for two grown men and all of our...

The hotel is a few steps from the Forum and the Colosseum, near public transport by bus or metro to anywhere you want to go. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
