Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful when it came to restaurant and touring recommendations. The breakfast included had a lot of different options and was fine. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

The Metropole is located a short walk from the Termini rail station. It is also close to the Coliseum. The location is perfect for using public transportation to get around the city. The rooms were good sized and spotless. The wifi was good, and the breakfast was terrific.

Hi. There are 250 rooms at the Star Hotel. They have rooms with single beds if you like but the queen sized beds can’t be separated. Enjoy Rome, I love it.
