Nice staff. But they hadnt changed our bed clothes and someone elses pyjamas were under my pillow. Within walking distance of a metro station, trevi fountain, colluseum, vatican and the spanish steps. So it was nice.

This boutique hotel is located on the Via Corso walking distance from the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and many other central attractions. The rooms are small but comfortable. The rooms are cleaned well every day. The front desk personnel are very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is included with an attentive wait staff. The price is very reasonable. This is a...

Hotel 3 stars (good/satisfactory). Location 5 stars. Great location for a short city break As it is easy Walking distance to so many Rome attractions. Bus stop outside hotel (bus stop corso) takes you to Vatican City, or to Terminale rail station (and to coliseum/forum if you really don't want to walk). Tourist office opposite hotel if you want to...

As many other reviews have stated this is perfect for location, good base and walking distance to Trevi fountain, the Colosseum, the Vatican etc, also lots and lots of shops on the street. The rooms were clean and small, beds comfy, no complaints there, we did however get woken up every morning at 7.30 by what I think was the...

Perfect for seeing what we wanted to. The room was fine for the 3 of us and with the windows closed the busy street was O.K. It did get very hot though and we couldn't seem to turn the heat down.Lots of eating spots are handy and tasty!

Friendly hotel, very clean, perfect location - just 4-5minutes from Trevi Fountain, similar to Pantheon, 15mins to Colosseum, less to the Spanish Steps. Cosy rooms but not cupboards - nicely decorated. Only downside is there is no bar or coffee shop in the hotel, but there is one next door - and the wifi isn't great on the fifth floor....

We got married in Rome and the majority of our wedding party stayed here. I cannot fault anything. We were upgraded, the staff were amazing helping with taxis on the wedding day. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast excellent. They even went into our room and put rose petals all over the bed and a bottle of prosecco chilling....

We stayed in the hotel n February 2014. It is a couple of minutes from the Trevi fountain and right near bus routes. It is perfect as a base for sightseeing and there are a lot of great restaurants and bars nearby. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing that let it down was the size and...

Not even left hotel yet and had to write my review! This hotel although situated on main road the windows and shutters keep out the noise at night and early morning bustle. Toilet quite small but serves its purpose. Service from the staff is second to none and go out of their way to help. Staff even stop to speak...

This Hotel is situated on a busy main road in central Rome. The location made it easy to find (10-15 min walk from Termini station) and was perfect for visiting all the main tourist attractions which is a real plus when only staying for a few days We were most impressed with our room, situated on the 5th floor with...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
