The Hotel Morgana was located near the Metro and easy access to Rome sights. The personnel were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. They assisted with transfer to/from the airport and answered any questions we had regarding places to eat/visit. Our room was immaculate, and the breakfast buffet was top notch. The even had a complimentary Happy Hour buffet...

This hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the train station and both of Rome's metro lines. Best described as faded grandeur. The room was old fashioned but the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was always clean with a powerful water supply, great for showering or relaxing in the bath after a long day sightseeing. Bed and towels changed...

The location of this hotel is great. You are literally around the corner from the termini. There are loads of restaurants close by and a small mini mart if you need to buy a cold drink etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is very nice and they have a small bar if you want...

We stayed at Hotel Morgana last October and I could not recommend it enough. For what we paid I felt the room exceeded my expectations, and the free drinks in the mini bar came as a pleasant surprise. Breakfast in the morning was really good, and I never had an empty coffee cup! Location wise it is great for most...

The hotel is in a great location central to all the major sites, you can walk very easily everywhere and it's a great way to see more of this wonderful city. The train station is about 10 mins walk at a slow pace. You can catch the train from Rome airport on the non stop train into central Rome, Termini...

Took a taxi from the airport (as a treat) and it was a fixed price as advertised on the side of the taxi. This gave a good view on the way in of some of the sights...Caracalla baths, Circus Maximus and The Palatine! However the hotel is only 5 mins from the railway station, 1 block away. We were greeted...

Booked the Morgana as part of a British Airways holiday. Chose it because of location near Termini station for straightforward train transfer to airport and ease of getting to centre/Vatican by metro or bus. On checkout we left the hotel at 08:55 and made the 09:05 Leonardo Express with time to spare - amazing! But it turned out to be...

Wow, what a wonderful hotel. Just had a couple of nights at the Morgana, and the hotel is fantastic. The staff were ever so helpful, breakfast was lovely, and the bedroom ... Wow. We had a executive room and was beautifully decorated. Located 15 minutes walk from the Colosseum, and less than 5 from termini train station. We will definitely...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
