This accommodation rental in Rome is a "suite" in one of the most elegant residence in Rome right on the Spanish Steps. The room looks out onto the Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna... A very coveted view in Rome. This Rome accommodation has a double bed and a single sofa in the same room, making it an excellent choice for a family of 3. There is a large bathroom with shower that also has a panoramic view of one of Rome's most famous piazza's: the Spanish Steps. Enjoy the freedom of having your own key to your Rome suite, while being in the safe environment of an elegant, serviced residence. The service here is extremely friendly and efficient. Room was small but fine, no view except a wall across from us. Lovely varied breakfast in a nice 5th floor room with views. Very convenient location for sightseeing although proximity to the Trevi fountain isn't really a plus at the moment while it is under maintenance. 3 different men worked on reception while we stayed for 4 nights and they were all very helpful and friendly, gave us food recommendations etc. We paid quite a bit for the room and that is why we knocked off a star. The prices they charge can go very high and it doesn't seem worth it. Definitely a great place to stay if you get a good deal on the price but when we stayed it was going in the region of €250-400 per night and I really don't think I'd pay that again given the standard of the room.

We were met at the airport by a very smart driver and taxi that Alessandra from the Hotel had arranged. The first night, Saturday, our room was clean and comfortable, but not modern. Alessandra moved us for the remaining stay to a modernised room which was small, but again clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, not a huge choice, two cereals for example, however the eggs were freshly cooked and there were lovely pastries. It was very pleasant to sit on the top floor looking out over Rome. Alessandra booked two restaurants for us, both of which were a short walk from the Hotel and we had two enjoyable and not expensive meals considering we were in the heart of the city and the quality of the food. The Hotel is in a very good position with access to train stations and within walking distance of most of the attractions. The staff were all helpful and polite. We asked for our beds to be separted when we arrived and by the time we came back from dinner this had been done without fuss on a Saturday night. We also requested more teabags which arrived within 10 minutes. Considering this is not a 5 Star Hotel we found the service excellent. We would certainly recommend this Hotel to friends.

We had a 1 bedroom apartment on 71 Via Francesco Crispi. It was a cute and very local feeling experience. The terrace was cute and great for pictures. There was an awesome cafe at the bottom where we had breakfast daily. The place was clean, and had everything we needed for our family. The checkin was a little different, we went to the original location where we met the host, who was the only person working and walking people to their apartments. So if you get there while he’s walking someone, you’ll have to wait. Just be patient because it’s worthy. The host was friendly and even helped us walk the luggage to the apartment. It was maybe 2 blocks but all uphill, so be ready.

We are 3 adults, 2 average size, 1 plus size in a triple standard room
Pros: *friendly staff *clean room
Cons: *tiny bathroom *when sitting on toilet a wall hits the hip *the shower doesn’t easily fit an average size person, with it impossible to squat or bed over for toiletries; doesn’t fit a plus size person *small gap between bathroom sink and door *limited plugs in room. Only open plug is across from foot of bed or in the bathroom *ac functions but not well. It is 94 (34) outside and probably 80 (27) inside *twin bed feels like laying on a trampoline *phone cord had to be held in place to call the front desk

Bad experience. The rooms didn’t look the like the website. I can deal with subpar, but this place was gross. The first room had a terrible smell, we asked to move and the front desk said no. I ask that maintenance come up and the employee said it smelled like there was a dead cat in the wall. Since the maintenance man told the front desk man, that our concern was valid we (2 women) were magically moved. Even though minutes earlier they said they were completely booked.
The walls of both rooms were visible dirty. I asked for a discount the next day when checking out due to the inconvenience and they said no because we had already paid. Their customer service was garbage. We stayed in a cheaper hotel nearby earlier on our trip and I wish we had returned there.

Be weary when booking this hotel, the images for the Superior Room on their website do not reflect the actual room ( they are their suite rooms). We would never have paid the amount we did for the room we were actually given if they had represented their rooms accurately. When questioned they said it was a fault with their internet provider and they were working to remedy this issue, but we booked well in advance so this has been a problem for sometime and still appears to be unfixed.
( please note that we had to be moved from Tritone to their sister hotel around the corner as they had major plumbing issues with our assigned room but we were assured that the Superior rooms at both establishments were on a par if not slightly better at the second hotel due to recent refurbishment - a very far cry from website representation however)

This hotel is a little quirky but we enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful. Our room was very clean and the linens were kept fresh. The room was comfortable but I would have liked to have a chair along with the bed and an upholstered bench. The bathroom was adequate for two people but not spacious.
We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the breakfast dining area view. The choices were varied with eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, yogurt and delicious pastries. The fresh pressed orange juice and coffee were delicious!
The location of the hotel was excellent. We were within 3-4 km of our destinations and restaurants and shopping were very easily accesible.

The location of this hotel is amazing, walking distance to all important monuments and attractions. Less than 4 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and right in the heart of shopping district. Our room was quiet large and very clean. I am recommending all my friends and family to stay at this hotel since the location was great and they offered a good breakfast that was geared more for North American travelers.

So close to the Trevi fountain and great places to eat that are open late such as Pane e Salame, Pompi, Lucciano's and my all time favorite Hostería La Scalinata.
Very easy to navigate from here as you are on a major street Via Tritone and close to another major one Via Corso.
Staff are generally helpful and welcoming. Can't remember the name, but one front desk receptionist who has a young kid was especially helpful of us in moving around with a young one. The breakfast staff and porters were also very helpful.
Rooms are comfortable although the lights can get confusing and the radio built in was more annoying than helpful. Small bathroom as usual for older buildings.

We recently stayed at the hotel Tritone and it was the perfect location. It is central to everything for walking between places but also has bus stops & metro just up the road in Barberini square. There are lots of restaurants and shops on the doorstep with the Trevi Fountain literally just round the corner. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean and the staff helpful. We had a superior room which was nicely decorated and plenty big enough- let’s face it you will not be spending much time in the room 😁 We opted for breakfast each day which was worth having - a good choice of options in a nice setting to set you up for your day. Thank you Hotel Tritone - I would definitely stay again.

Dear WharfRatt,
thank you so much for contacting us: it is a pleasure to know that somebody is thinking to come to Rome in this strange period...
Junior Suites do not have bathtubs, just showers.
Just an idea: have a check on our wonderful four-stars hotel "White Hotel", a few metres form the Trevi Fountain as well ( go on the official website ).
White Hotel has wonderful rooms with bathtube. In case you like it ( we do hope so!), write to us, to get the best rate ever !
WE are looking forward to meeting you in person.
Kindest regards
M. Mancusi - GM
