4 of us stayed here for a recent holiday and enjoyed our time here. Excellent service and nice property, only knock is the heating in one our rooms was full blast with no way of controlling it even speaking with staff-fortunately the windows opened so we could get some relief. Staff is very good at recommending restaurants so be sure...

The pre-printed sign at the front desk says 'we have 49 Platinum members in house today'. That is a fancy way of saying don't expect much. I am Platinum and it was the first time I was downgraded on my reservation. If you are not Platinum, don't bother to show up at all. The hotel lobby is typical Rome -...

The most comfortable beds and the staff is very helpful. Very nice breakfast buffet (at a price). Bathroom was spacious and the rooms were very clean. Lots of nice restaurants around the corner. Harry's Bar across the street but I don't recommend it, very expensive.

As a frequent hotel guest, it is a rare find to find a hotel with great service, location, and value. The staff especially at the front desk and concierge were fantastic. Calling churches, restaurants and providing directions. Gold and above members receive free buffet bfast. A nice spread with views overlooking the city. The bfast staff was extremely kind and...

The hotel is nice, very accommodating. We were given an attached room that was suitable for our family. Breakfast was amazing, complete with mimosa and make your own pancakes. The only let down was there is no pool or spa and the gym facilities was very small.

This is actually a review for April 2015, and for another visit a few years before that and again before that. This hotel truly reminds one of what travel should be. Elegant. Classy. Quietly present. The breakfast is superb and I have always enjoyed the food and the view. Every room I have had has been comfortable and quiet. I...

The Rome Marriott is a beautiful hotel and I would consider it one of the nicer Marriott properties at which I've stayed. I was here 3 nights on a business trip. The lobby is a bit small but beautifully decorated. Same for my room - quite small but elegantly decorated. The bathroom is one of the nicest I've seen -...

I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received at this hotel! From everyone at the entrance and front desk who made us feel welcome (especially Francesca), to the cleaning staff who kept our room shiny in spite of our three kids, on to those in the breakfast room especially Morena (pardon my spelling) who kept the breakfast running...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
