Stayed during 2 day business visit. Hotel relatively good. Service average but friendly. Top floor breakfast, indoor and terrase overlooking Rome. Friendly staff. Rooms not too big. Nice bathroom. Clean.

Rooms are dated and incredibly small - you don't even have space to move from one end to another. We paid over $300 for this (it was a last minute thing) - I feel that we'd have been better off going to another hotel. Location is quite good though and it's isn't bad but I'd recommend you to search harder.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the size (large) room (#301) I had, which is somewhat uncommon in Rome, at least based on my experience. It had a huge king bed, Desk, 2 chairs with table, big closet and an iron and ironing board, which is also uncommon but very much appreciated. My view was of the wall and overlooking...

This lovely hotel is centrally located for easy walking to most sites of interest. Massimo Crea was of great assistance with restaurant reservations, as well as coordinating a private tour guide and car to Pompeii! The food was excellent in the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor, which provided breathtaking views of the city. The staff were extremely attentive to...

Visited in March 2017 and was disappointed to find lobby and bottom floor are under renovation. Only one elevator bank open. Won't be finished for a couple of months, so I'd recommend going elsewhere until then. Had paid extra for high floor superior larger guest room facing Borghese Park. When arrived, room did not look anything like the photo on...

We have stayed here for several visits to Rome and we always look forward to coming back. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are great--as with all Marriotts. While we were there this time, the hotel was being renovated so the dining room had moved to the rooftop terrace. What a treat...

We felt very welcomed by the friendly, helpful staff. The location was convenient for restaurants and accessing the ancient sites . The room was a reasonable sized - not large but not minuscule. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

For a short stay in Rome before our cruise with Viking, we decided to stay again at the Grand Hotel Flora. And we did the right choice! The service is great, the staff is friendly, the breakfast views on the rooftop terrace are gorgeous. The room was nice and clean, and the bedding was really good. Everything is nearby and...

The hotel was nice but the staff made the stay amazing. The front desk staff was wonderful and was happy to help us with directions and arraigning transportation. Housekeeping was also polite and impeccable. The rooms were not large but they were very comfortable. Breakfast with a view was a great bonus. The location was convenient and we were able...

Checking in was a delight they made sure you were given a map and where all the attractions were. We were able to walk to all the attractions from this hotel. at the end of the day we ushered back. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Had all the comforts. Great step in shower with a strong rainfall shower head....

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
