I love this hotel. I've stayed several times and always feel very relaxed, "at home" and welcome. It is in a good location, has comfortable beds and the food is great. As a solo mature female traveler, I appreciate the attentiveness of all staff and have always felt safe and at ease here.

We stayed here in February of 2014. The hotel is beautiful and nicely located. The front desk was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. The hotel is very walkable and we were able to get to all the major sights within a 20-30 walk through the streets of Rome. There are also wonderful restaurants within 3 blocks of the...

I would wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful hotel. The reception staff and concierge (massimo) are incredibly helpful and polite. Massimo in particular made some excellent recommendations and was very personable. We loved the hotel bar, roof terrace and breakfast room and every effort was made to ensure we had a perfect experience. No request we made was too large! My only...

Lovely hotel in a great location but best of all are the helpful thoughtful staff especially Massimo the concierge who could not have been more helpful, thank you. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are spacious and we had a lovely view of the Borghese gardens. Do not miss the view of the eternal city from the rooftop...

We stayed here for a week while we were in Italy this past October. I thought the hotel was in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. To me the best part of the stay was our daily breakfast on the roof. The view is just amazing! I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to...

One of my favorite hotels in the world. Second trip and it was as good as we remember. My wife and I returned with our friends and were not disappointed. Hotel is luxurious, very regal appearance. We love the large rooms that are so well appointed. Getting upgraded rooms due to status is a huge plus. I probably would rate...

We stayed here for a few days in early December visiting Rome for the Holidays and was very pleased with not only the location but the service. The front desk staff is solid Marriott, helpful and very friendly no request or question too small. The room we got was a king off the main street and was quiet. While the...

Beautiful windows that open all the way to let in the fresh air. The lobby was very nice and the staff was friendly. There is music and piano in the lobby. Bartender gave us our first taste of Grappa. We used Marriott Rewards points and had no issues.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
