We have just come back from our break in Rome which we visited to celebrate my birthday. (Prosecco and card from management, lovely touch) The hotel is lovely, very clean rooms, and the staff were all very polite and friendly. It is also very near...More
We chose the hotel on the basis of its location - as it was central, close to attractions, and one road back from Rome's seemingly never-ending noise-and-bustle - and are pleased to say that we chose very well indeed: it is elegant, welcoming and professional....More

It would be the third time in this hotel. It's tru that the last one was in 2010, but, my impressions were good.
This time, unfortunately, it was disappointing. Rude front desk, switched off air conditioned until 15/05 and bathrooms to be modernized.
Located right in the center of Rome, few meters from Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna,
The hotel itself offers nice accommodation in an ancient building, rooms are comfortable even if not adequate to numbers of Stars (i know it's an italian issue).

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you
can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

Hi, I personally love to travel by train , the new frecciarossa is confortable and has a good place for luggage it's really fast, less than 4hour and it means that you save a day of vacation. On top of it parking a car in Venive is a nightmare and quite expensive. If you travel light will be the easier way. Best of luck and once in venice have a glass of REFOSCO:)
