Caprice hotel is ideally situated, walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Panthenon. Also close to metro station Barberini. The rooms was very small, nice and clean. The shower has no window or curtain. Breakfast is very simple, just the basic. Many restaurants and shops are close by. The hotel location is ideal to visit the center of...

I was here last June, and came back this year too, approximately the same time. I have told all my good impressions for Hotel Caprice in my last year's revue and have nothing to add to it except that this time my room was a bit bigger that the one I had last year. My remarks about the restaurant remain...

Caprice hotel is ideally situated, walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Panthenon for example. Many great little restaurants and shops are close by too. The hotel itself is small, cosy, friendly office staff and okay breakfasts.

- Breakfast was really bad, I almost broke my teeth on those hard bagels. Breakfast staff is very unfriendly, they act like they're doing a hard job and have a lot of pressure. They should be replaced by people who actually WANT TO work. Especially that little Italian lady, she should be fired first. She's looking angry at people as...

Nice rooms with very pleasant staff. The breakfast was also good with small selection of dishes. The area was very close to the great park of the Villa Borghese. And a 20 Minutes walk away from main rail station Termini.

Booked last minute. The room was small, the tv had no English channels but not a problem as we spent most of our time out exploring. Great location, walking distance to termini which is a bonus. 5 min walking distance to the trevi fountain. The breakfast was continental self serve. Filled us up until lunch time. Great value for money....

This hotel is quite tiny, narrow staircase and ha the narrowest lift I have ever seen, but the room is not that small. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Small tv, but I guess you won't go to Rome to watch tv ;-) Breakfast is very limited but it's fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. The internet connection can be...

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Hotel Caprice. The staff were friendly and the morning buffet breakfast was wonderful. We loved the location of the hotel, it was walking distance from most places and also near the main train station. The Spanish Steps were about a 15 minute walk. The room itself was very compact, but this is...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
