Although I would class the hotel itself as very much 4 star in terms of room standards and facilities, the staff at the Barocco hotel are an absolute gem. Genuine, kind, helpful, warm, friendly... I could go on and on. We loved the breakfasts each morning, beautifully baked pastries, hot food, tremendous coffee, fruit, cold meats & cheeses.... all totally...

Great location, attentive and friendly service, and a great cozy breakfast with quality over quantity. Free wifi with good speed. Hotel is not cheap, but delivered above our expectations. Room was cosy, cleaning was good overall. Maybe some renovetion of lamps/fitures could be in place and a more quiet heating/AC solution. But nothing that disturbed me.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The hotel is in a great spot located close to the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. There are good places to eat nearby as well. The hop on tour buses stop...

I booked a break to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday. The hotel is very central. There are many cafés and restaurants close by. The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and helpful . I don't know the names of the two men who booked us in on Saturday morning but they were very nice. Our rooms were all spotless and...

My partner and I decided to book a little two night trip to Rome, and after browsing on TripAdvisor we had come across this hotel with great reviews, and decided to book it. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we were instantly greeted with a cheerful smile and we most definitely felt welcome. (At first we didn't realise...

Unfortunately the choices for rating go from "Average" to "Very Good." I would, if I could, give this small hotel located near the top of the Spanish Steps a "Good" rating. Our family of five (ages 80, 51, 50, 20 and 17) spent 6 nights at this hotel while we toured in and around Rome over our Thanksgiving holiday. The...

Most TA reviews will tell you about the fantastic staff and a great location being walking distance to most of the major attractions and shopping area. Plenty of good restaurants close by and worth an evening walk to see the Trevi fountain at night. We stayed three nights in the annex - an average size room with better bathroom. One...

We stayed at the Barocco for 5 nights and it was a reasonably priced luxury boutique with the best breakfast we had in Italy. Buffet has all you can imagine and then you get to order eggs if you'd like an omelette or some fried eggs. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and some have wonderful views of Plaza Barberini. Staff...
