Stayed here during the month of October and loved it. The hotel is located a few feet away from the roman forums. We were able to see them from our window!! The rooms are small and on the older side, however I still rated the hotel a 5 because the customer service was excellent and the location is perfection. The...

The bedrooms were small and one of our party had a view of the fire escape for the same price as the rooms with a view. The rooftop bar was closed to guests for private parties for three nights out of a four night stay which is very poor as it advertises itself as having a bar which is seemingly...

When the hotel is not fully booked we often upgrate the guests to a Deluxe room instead of a classic room. Ovviously we couldn't do the upgrade for your entire group. It can happen that the American Bar is fully booked and we can't foresee it. It's not a question of price. We apologize.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a city break and was impressed with its central location. It's an old style elegant hotel which has friendly welcoming staff - the continental breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant and there are many restaurants nearby for other meals if that's what you choose. We would definitely stay here again as...

Traditional quiet older hotel with fabulous roof terrace views of forum and sunsets (as seen in older hollywood movies). In a quiet street but close to many sights. Small rooms, plumbing is a bit antiquated, but A/C and WIFI works fine. Traditional Italian breakfast buffet. We have stayed here several times and were happy with it, but not for those...

We thank you very much for your review. Our hotel is in an old convent of the XVIII century full of history, in the middle of the roman ruins. Very best regards.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location. The staff is all very friendly and the public rooms very elegant although that might come across as rather dated. We are very happy with the hotel and will stay here again when we are next in Rome although Therese's a...

Worst hotel ever we have stayed in. Dirty, small, staff not friendly at all. Hairs in bed, bathroom, dust everywhere, no storage space for clothes, we lived out of our suitcase. Restaurant is over price!!

The staff is friendly and it's very close to the colosseum. The hotel is very old and not really renovated, bed is VERY uncomfortable. We also killed two spiders in our room. Breakfast was just okay. We stayed 1 night and moved to another hotel.

Dear Guest, the rooms have been all recently refurbished with new upholstery of the beds. Probably the classic decor is not of your liking and you prefer the modern one. We are sorry but an historic hotel located in 2,000 years of history between the imperial forums and the Coliseum will never become like a hotel that you can found...

We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone . The restaurant was first class and the food divine . Our guides Melste10161457 and Helorie were really friendly and professional and we learned so much about the history of the Colosseum .We were a small group of six and there was only one other group in the Colosseum with us unlike...

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Right in the heart of Rome and steps away from the Forum, Coliseum, and Capital. We had a very limited time in Rome, so this was perfect to be able to see everything at once.

I arrived on October 5 to stay a week. I have stayed at The Intercontinental de la Ville in Rome for more than 20 years. However, with it's closing this Spring, I decided to try a location closer to the ancient sites. I had been to the Rooftop Restaurant at The Hotel Forum and always enjoyed the food and ambience,...
