Stayed for 4 nights, booked via Tui as a B&B. Nice location, very near the metro Repubblica station. Friendly reception staff. The room was nice and had an old look but so is the hotel, so was expecting it, not a criticism, nice size bathroom and bedroom. Soaps etc supplied but very small. Though we traveled in January, we did find the room quite warm at night and ended up with the windows open, it was fairly noisy but after 12 am it tended to be quiet.
The only issue we had was breakfast, we had booked breakfast with Tui but were informed by the hotel this was only for an Italian Breakfast which consisted of coffee/Juice and a pastry, if we wanted a continental Breakfast it was an extra 10 euros each, each day. We ended up using the restaurant next door which did all-you-can-eat breakfast for the same price. For our evening meal, there is a restaurant on the corner of the road called National I think, can't quite remember but would recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. While the location is central to main attractions, shops & transport, we are unsure as to why the hotel is rated 4 stars. The air conditioning in our room was set to 26 degrees! It’s Summer in Europe right now and it’s ludicrous that the AC is set so high. We couldn’t open the window due to street noise and the hotel façade lights coming in the window. The beds were hard and the pillow was not very supportive. We were quite uncomfortable and didn’t sleep very well. The decor is outdated and needs a refresh. Staff were quite friendly, especially the tall lady with brown hair.
The stay was adequate but for not much more money we could have stayed in a much nicer hotel.

The hotel location is very good, you can walk to some landmarks, and there are underground stations nearby.
The breakfast in the hotel at a price for 15 EUR per person was very good, the staff are generally polite and helpful, rooms are clean.
There were no bottled water, no coffee machine, no kettle, and even no glasses in the room - we had to ask for it. Magically, we had couple of disposable glasses in the toilet the next day. We had an issue with the TV-set, and it couldn't be solved the same day. There were no slippers in the room.
In general, I'd recommend to stay in that hotel if you're not going to spend long time inside

I am booked at the hotel (Mondial Via Torina 127), when I was checked i was given a room that faced the back of the hotel, it look like a dungoen. I managed to get my room Changed. I was told that the Air Condition system is not working trough-out the hotel, and the guest must open the windows and sleep. That is not possible due to the noise, also mosquitoes. It is a joke for it being a 4 star hotel. Guest are not even given complimentary water. one has to pay for it. As i can understand that all guest that have checked in within this period was frustrated and so did the staff, and they were yelled at. There is nothing that the staff can do. The hotel management is not around to see to their guest. Some guest were given fans to use in the rooms, not all guest had this privilege. It is s nice hotel to stay if it worked well as it should be working. The day time temperature is over 31 degrees, it is impossible to stay and sleep in a hotel like this with no air circulation. It is a pity and a shame that they charge so much and not will to help the guest.

This hotel was perfect for us. It was 3 minutes to a metro stop,10 minutes to Termini train station, had great restaurants in a block radius snd we could walk to the Coliseum. The reception desk personnel were Extremely helpful with recommendations and directions. They even got us a bag breakfast when we had to leave very early one morning. The regular sit-down breakfast had eggs, sausage, bread, pastries, cereal, meat and cheese, juice, excellent coffee and tea. It turned cold while we were there and we appreciated the extra blankets and heater.

I love hotel lobbies with old world charm. But I prefer more modern hotel rooms. This hotel has the former but not the latter. The staff is friendly and helpful. An employee literally walked us to a nearby restaurant when we asked for recommendations. And he wasn’t wrong. However, the rooms need updating. Especially the bathroom ( no shower stall, just a tub). The ac was off and there is no window screen. It wasn’t pleasant returning to a stuffy room after being in the sun and humidity all day. At night, we left the window open, but kept the curtains in place to keep bugs out. The hotel also attaches their key to a weighted object. They ask their guests to drop it off at front desk on their way out. And pick it up upon their return. Overall, it was pleasant enough for a short stay.

Great location, lovely staff however the room we were given was quite dated, awkward with the room placement , seems accessible from the roof so didn't feel too comfortable with opening the windows at night.

Sheets were stained and didn't seem like 4* hotel standard, however the room was cleaned daily and quite well by the cleaners!

We had no hot water in our room for our first 2 days which was quite uncomfortable, but the hotel did fix this issue eventually (seemed like an overall plumbing issue)

Rooms have fridges which is handy, and hotel lets you keep luggage in the hotel securely on day of checkout :)

What an appalling experience . We stayed here when it was a Best Western but today ,the standards have hit the floor .Our room is filthy ,we went to reception to resolve the issue ,but they tried to excuse it away at first ,then agreed it was in desperate need of upgrading . However in spite of us paying full price for this room ,she insulted us by inferring we had the room so cheap we really shouldn't be complaining . This is a 2* hotel at best very shabby & dated . We have been moved into another room but that too is shabby &dirty .I wouldn't recommend this hotel .

Nice hotel, very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Check-in/out was swift and uncomplicated. Helpful staff and polite.
Good location, 20 minute walk to the Colosseum. Just under an hours walk to Vatican city but that can be broken up with stops at the Trevi fountain and Pantheon which are only 15/20 minutes walk from the hotel. Plenty of transport options close by if needed. Some good restaurants and a couple of coffee shops if you walk a couple of minutes away. 5 minutes walk from Roma termini.
As some have said, I don't really see why it's a 4* hotel, with no bar or restaurant, etc, definitely 3* though. And it's practically the same room layout as a UK travelodge. The decor is nicer. We called down for loo roll one night but none was provided. The electricity tripped once and they had to reset it for us but that was dealt with swiftly. The free WiFi is spotty but we weren't too bothered as we rarely used it. Didn't order breakfast, can't comment on that. Tea/coffee facilities in the rooms would be nice as there's already a fridge. There's a safe in the room too and a TV. Mattress was a bit hard but comfortable enough for a few nights. Spare, clean pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. Bathroom had a bath with a shower over it, again very clean. Nice hotel all in all.

There are towels in the bathroom. Bath size and another size that's larger than a hand towel but smaller than the bath towel. No washcloths, though.
