We spend a wonderful time in Rome and this hotel helped to achieve that. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast and big bed. Not too fancy (in a good way), but clean and cozy. Oh, and the location is just perfect. Just couple of minutes away from Termini bus station.

We had a problem with the air con and sink on the first evening but these were sorted out quickly the following morning. A noisy location but I enjoyed the breakfast and proximity to all of the sights and the train station

We stayed here as part of a package my husband bought through Thomsons as an anniversary surprise. Never again . Every morning we woke to no water . The room is old and tired and in need of refurbishment. The carpet is threadbare and bleached by the sun in places. The staff are rude and have no personalities at all...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It has some character. however the smelly toiled it didn't !! We had to leave the window open at all times, otherwise the room would be filled with a horrible smell. Shower is way too small. Customer service is zero! i asked one of the reception staff ( middle aged man) how...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
