Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.

Safely nestled in quite streets is this beautiful oasis of a hotel. All the staff are extremely friendly and always ready with maps to show you anything you want. While all the staff were kind, our favorite was Gabriel. He speaks English fluently and was able to tell us exactly

My family of four (2 adults/2 kids age 8 and 4) stayed at this charming hotel over New Years. The location is a quick taxi ride to the city center and cost around 8-12 Euros. There is also a bus line connecting you to main attractions with the stop right in front of the hotel.

Hello ! Fiumicino Airport is approx. 45 KM far from Hotel delle Muse. There are various ways to arrive from Fiumicino Airport to Hotel Delle Muse: 1) You can take a white cab (taxi) from the airport to the Hotel. The price, luggage included, will be approx. 55-80 euro . Please be careful! At the airport, after customs, do not hire the people waiting outside as they offer unlicensed transport to Rome. Instead ,go straight to the Exit where you will find licensed cabs waiting in line. 2) Alternatively, you can take the shuttle train from the airport to the railway station, Stazione Termini. From Stazione Termini you can take either bus n°360muse,direction Piazza Delle Muse (approx.20 minutes) or a cab (approx 17-22 euro, luggage included) to the hotel. Here, again, do not pay attention to people offering transportation or hotels but go to the central or lateral exit of the station. There you will find licensed cabs waiting in line. You cant buy bus tickets on the bus but only at newspaper stands or Tobacco shops. If you have any problem upon your arrival at the hotel contact the concierge before you pay the driver, and we will be happy to assist you. 3) Shuttle train from Fiumicino airport to Stazione Termini: FIRST train 07.37 - LAST train at 22.37. The journey lasts twenty minutes. Thanks! Best regards Hotel delle Muse

Yes to first 2 questions and they would help you book sightseeing but Rome is a very busy city so would recommend you pre-book to avoid disappointment.

Hello from Hotel delle Muse! Many thanks for Your message. My suggestion is to book in advance only tickets for "Vatican Museum" and for "Colosseum and Forum". For VATICAN MUSEUM you can buy the tickets directly online and pay with credit card. Please visit their official website.(Google "Vatican Museum sito ufficiale" , the correct page ends in .VA) For the COLOSSEUM AND FORUM (same ticket) you can buy the ticket directly online and pay with credit card. Please visit the COOPCULTURE website. (Google COOPCULTURE COLOSSEO) If you prefer a “guided” Tour we can book for you a tour from CARRANI tour agency. Please visit their website and check their tours. We can book Carrani tours till 1 day before the tour. Once you will be here we will show you what to visit in town and we will plan together your days in Rome. If you are very interested in Museums , I think it is a good option to buy the ROMA PASS (36.00 EURO) . With the ROMA PASS you will have 3 days unlimited public transportation pass + 2 free entrances in Museums (Vatican museum not included ) + Discounted price for others museum. Please visit ROMA PASS official website for more detailed information. Weather in September will be still warm enough to go around the city in T-shirt during the day , maybe you will need a light jacket for the evening. Last year at the end of September the max temperature was 25 Celsius , the minimum temperature was 15 Celsius. Hope this helps ! :) Many thanks Best Regards Hotel delle Muse Roma
