Group of 12 went out to support Wales. Hotel was 15 min walk to more central city area, which got a bit tedious as it was up hill on way back. We stayed for 5 nights. I would class it 3 star max. Hotel very clean, staff friendly, reception very helpful. Lift only went to second floor, stairs very narrow....

My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday with a trip to Rome - first stop, the Oxford. It's a lovely little place, rooms are quaint (we had an ensuite and our windows opened into the inner courtyard) we had a double room (two beds pushed together) but was comfortable & had a wardrobe for hanging clothes. We had breakfast which...

And front reception staff were lovely and helpful for transfers when going home! Would come back again:) (photo was the view from our...

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. It is not far from the main attractions, around a 20 minute walk but best to plan your route so you know exactly where to go! We stayed for the weekend and we can't complain. Breakfast was nice and the hotel room was just as good too!

My partner and I visited last week. Despite requesting a double room, we were given a twin room, though the concierge did change our room once the mistake was realised. There's no room service and the bar in the hotel is very pricey. The hotel is clean. The decor is nice but it's a little dated around the edges. Unfortunately...

The hotel is centrally located to Rome Centre and all the attractions. It is possible to walk to all the main attractions including The Vatican. The hotel itself is pleasant, clean and friendly. The rooms are not massive but are adequate. We did not eat in the hotel as we enjoy looking for nice restaurants (mainly Tratatorris) which are family...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
