The hotel is small and definately not 3 stars. ( later on in our visits to other cities in Italy that Italian star system seems to be lower standereds than other europian standeredrs). The reception is seperate and the enterenace to the building for the rooms is from an ally. The elevetor is very small and with Lugage only one...

We selected hotel Hotel Sant' Angelo for it´s great location and low rates. When visiting this hotel I definitely reccomend taxi transport (Mercedes cars) from/to the airport organized by the hotel for 50€ - one way/max. 4 people. We had a triple room and a double room. Rooms: - clean / room service everyday - refrigerator - (triple room) -...

As in other reviews, the main draw to this hotel is its location and very friendly and helpful staff. Our daughter and her husband treated my wife and I to a whirl-wind tour of Europe and this was one of our stops from 12/21/08-12/25/08. The breakfasts were great along with a couple of cups of cappuccino and you could spend...

Good Points * Clean, decent size room * Great proximity to Vatican City * Fantastic breakfast * Lovely area of Rome * Very friendly, helpful staff * Safe available in reception Bad Points * Thin walls, very noisy * Lots of street noise from works across the road, some double glazing wouldn't go astray.

Great location we walked everywhere from this hotel, even over to the coloseum!! the room was very clean, shower was very small but we were expecting that as i had read an earlier report on trip advisor. i would say it was more a 2* than 3* but all italian hotels seem to have a higher grading to the rest...

The hotel was difficult to find as it is in the middle of a side street an not well marked from the outside. There are street signs, however, that help you get close. The lobby of hotel is upstairs. Elevator is extremely small - two people with luggage was tight. The rooms are clean and decent size for Europe. Bed...

Hotel has an excellent location. The Vatican is a short walk one way, and the centre or Rome is a short walk the other way. The hotel itself is adeuqate but nothing special. Bed ok, bathroom very small. If you are an overweight American (or any other nationality) then avoid this hotel. Otherwise the location makes it a very good...

What a disappointing hotel... I agree with previous reviews that the location is superb but there are much better hotels in the same area. We stayed 5 nights and our room was tiny. The bathroom was so small I would doubt that a person with a slightly larger than normal size, could get into the shower. Big problems to be...

Just spent five nights in Rome at hotel Sant Angelo. Location was just amazing....walked everywhere and never had to use public transport except on last day when we took the number 110 bus (open-topped sight-seeing bus) to give our legs a rest! Hotel was lovely. I was apprehensive, especially after reading some of the negative comments on the website but,...

We decided on staying here ,after reading other reports on Tripadvisor. After reading reports on Hotels near termimi,we wanted somewhere within easy reach to all main attractions ,without using public transport and found Sant Angelo fitted the bill perfectly. After arriving by pre-booked taxi at 11.00 am,asked if we could leave luggage until we could check -in ,but was told room...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
