Great overall hotel for its price. Clean room every day with clean sheets and towels. Breakfast was again decent for the price you pay and the staff very helpful and fluent in English. Location is very close to the center and 30 meters from a metro station.

I stayed here with my husband in December 2015. The room was extremely small, I mean at one time either me or my husband could open our respective luggage and the floor would be so filled up that it was difficult to even walk.Room wasn't noisy as others have reported , probably because of the location. The bathroom was small...

Looked nice online, looks like an outdated dump in person. Sure its in the center close to everything but do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for something better. When I got there I got a key to my room that was 10 feet from the reception desk, the door lock didn't work, the room was outdated and...

The only good thing about the hotel is its location. Our room was facing the street and was very noisy it was hard to fall asleep the AC was even noisier when turned on and didn't provide any coolness. Bathroom was not cleaned properly and the shower box was very small. Breakfast consists of bread and cereal but there is...

I went in july with the family. Very hot weather. No ar conditioning, no tv, no hot bath. Th receptionist was kind and was kind of ashamed because of the situation and tried to ledo the best but he had no empowerment. I do not recommend.

After the business, decided to stay on for a couple of days '' touristing '' chose this hotel due to its location and we want something small and intimate. It is very closed to Republicca Metro station and literrally places of interest were within walking distance... Barberini, Fontana de Trevi, Piazza Spagna ..etc.. The hotel is in an old building...

I shouldn't complain as the rate per night was a lot less than other central hotels in Rome. I booked a balcony room (the best type they had on offer). The room was sufficient though a little dated/tired looking with chips and paint missing from the walls. The wifi didn't work in this particular room (403) which was irritating as...

The rooms were a bit old & small but generally clean. Bathrooms were ok. The balcony was my favorite part. My friend couldn't sleep because of the noise from the street all night although it didn't bother me. AC worked well. If you're looking for fancy/comfortable, stay away from here. Location is walking distance from train station but far (50...

The rooms are tiny. I spent a few days here, and the rooms are very small, and the restrooms are very old. It is an older facility that certainly needs some work. The wifi usually doesn't work, and be prepared to pay City taxes when you are checking out.

We were a party of six ( 3 couples) staying for 4 nights for the welsh v Italy rugby. The hotel was clean and tidy but small rooms, breakfast good but just continental.the surrounding streets are busy with traffic all of the time so it is noisy. However that said we all agreed that we would use this hotel again...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“The rooms with balconies facing the road are beautiful and a little more expensive but I'd suggest a room without a view looking into the service courtyard if you need a good nights sleep, much quieter and you can get the views when out walking.”
