Well situated - within a mile of the Colosseum and Termini railway station. Also, Manzoni Metro stop just round the corner. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly, helpful service round the clock. Plenty on offer at breakfast both healthy and typically Italian. The bed was a bit hard and as our door was right beside the stairwell we could hear other guests on...

A cosy structure with all the needed services, very close to Metro and Termini Rail Station. Small room but well organised. Comfortable staying also thanks to service personnel, extremely helpful and friendly. A nice sojourn for a weekend in Roma.

If your'e planning on going to Rome and stay comfortable, safe and clean; this is a great place! I stayed November 2014 with my mom, excellent service, good breakfast, easy to find if you've never been in Rome. Very close to Manzotti station (5 or less minute walk, at night is kind of dark but the neighborhood is safe and...

Location of the hotel is perfect: within a walking distance from Termini station, Colosseum, other major attractions and just a few minutes from Manzoni metro station. It's on a quiet street, so the outside noise is not a problem at all. Inside it can be a problem though, as you can hear the sounds from the staircase and sometimes even...

To arrive in Rome and discover that where you have booked has shut down rattles you a fair bit, especially when you don't speak Italian and you have no idea where you are. Luckily a lovely woman in a restaurant next to our origin accomo recommended La Locanda, rang them for us to make sure they had a room and...

The staff was very nice trying to make the most of what they had to offer. Room was small but clean with well equipped bathroom. The hot water was a problem 5 seconds very...

Booked this at the very last minute as an emergency. Four minutes from Manzoni metro station. Lovely and clean with beautiful rooms for the price, it's a refurbished convent. Very clean. Staff very helpful and charming. They were extremely nice when we trolled up for breakfast at 1015, thinking it was 9.15 because we had failed to change our watches...

This small hotel is an ideal place to explore Rome. The hotel is comfortable, prices less than central Rome. The hotel is only a few minutes on foot from Manzoni metro station, two stops from Termini. There is a choice at breakfast between sweet and savoury dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful, they recommended a restaurant nearby which we...

We were there in September,2014. It was a very clean room, size was good. Our room was on the third floor. They served a very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Rooms have AC. Staff is very friendly. You can walk to Colosseum from the hotel. Also for the town center, metro station is just steps away.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
