Stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of October and loved it. Perfect location, perfect host and bright, clean rooms. Very well priced for Rome and I will try and book to stay here on future visits. Big thanks to Mario for his hospitality, you are the perfect host and we look forward to seeing you again 😄 Andrea... Stayed at this B&B for 3 nights and had really good experience. Mario was the ultimate host and nothing was too much trouble, Rooms are basic but very clean and tidy. The area is very safe and there are numerous restaurants within walking distance as are all major attractions Rome has to offer! We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to... More

Moved to another building slightly down the road. Still a city centre location. Nicely decorated property that was exactly what required. Mario very helpful at all points and seemed genuinely interested to talk to us. Would highly recommend.

The B&B is in a convenient and safe location, just off the Via XX Settembre, a ten minute walk from Roma Termini and two minutes from several bus stops. Many of the major attractions are within walking distance. There's also a lovely gelateria just round the corner (Gelateria Romana). The flat was clean and tidy, the continental breakfast was nice... We were here for just 2 days but we had a really pleasant experience. We have been in Rome few times before and I can say that so far this was the best place to stay for a reasonable price. Location is in walking distances to all major attractions. It is situated in a good neighbourhood which makes you feel... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend, great location! Central to all attractions and close to local restaurants/metro station. Mario and his wife were so kind and helpful with our needs. The room was small but had high ceilings so didn't feel closed in. Very clean and comfortable and we slept great. Would definitely stay here again :)

I stayed here with my wife in June of 2016. This B&B is located very conveniently just a 5 min walk from Termini Station which is great if you plan to come from the airport or by train and you get the added bonus of using Termini as a central hub for the Metro. The B&B itself is in a... More

Let me start with the negative. This B&B is starting to show its age interior-vise. The isolation (sound proofing) isn't very good and the elevator to the fifth floor is rather small, but fits two/three people. However, none of that really matters, because what you get for the money is completely superb, all in all. Mario Fabio, who owns the... More

We have just stayed 4 nights at the b&b. First of all the location is great, the area very safe and (despite the impromptu street concert held last friday night) pretty quiet for central Rome. Mario took great care of us and is a very friendly bloke. He could not have been more helpful from the moment we arrived! Contrary... More

We booked the Agli Horti as a last minute holiday and read lots of positive reviews beforehand. The B&B is basically a converted flat in a beautiful old building with a bit of a sketchy lift! I agree that Mario was very friendly from start to finish, as was the breakfast lady. The location is great; it really is best to... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
