I stayed there from May 17 -19 during my Italy trip. Overall speaking it's a comfortable place to stay in :) 1) Good location: though the hotel owner said it's walking distance from Termini train station, however, we took the Metro from train station once bought the Rome Pass. Took Metro Line A, and get off at Manzoni, the hotel...

Rome was our last stop on our honeymoon in Italy and throughout our entire trip, we got the best welcome and service from Pina, Sabrina and the rest of the staff at At Home Townhouse. Pina welcomed us and told us everything we needed to know about Rome. She provided us with a list of restaurants to try in each...

A group of three women visiting Rome stayed at the At Home Townhouse in Rome. It was clean, modern and very comfortable. Pina greeted us when we arrived and made sure we understood all travelling directions and helped us out with the subway system. She made sure we could freshen up and provided drinks when we arrived and we had...

This was our first visit to Rome and we were very nervous about booking a hotel with the huge amount of choice available. We were so glad we booked to stay at the Townhouse as from start to finish the service we received was first class. We were given a personal service from start to finish and the owners really...

Conveniently located near Manzoni train station and tram/bus stop, it was easy to get to most attractions. Yet, it is also situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood that was peaceful and not too noisy. Nice eateries nearby and the best gelato ever! Katia warmly welcomed us and took time to recommend the best places to dine including the gelato shop....

The staff is very attentious, the location is very good because it's near a Metro station and various good restaurants. The staff will provide you perfect tips for everything about Rome. The breakfast is good but it could use some ham and cheese, its mainly bread coffe, juice and croissant.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
