Detailed Reviews
I booked this hotel, having read the excellent reviews and had high expectations!
The terrace is wonderful and the breakfast attendant was so sweet that this alone gave us a happy start of the day.
The room is of simple standard but clean. The bed was nice and the airconditioning a blessing during the heatwave! The bathroom was lovely and large with a view! There were times when there was no hot water.
However, we were booked a room where the bathroom was situated at the end of the L shaped corridor, something which proved awkward. My young daughter bumped into a man in a towel on his way to the shower, which she found rather embarrassing. And having to pee in the night turned into a bit of an expedition. You have to worry about what you wear and you might find yourself fully awake after a walk back and forth. We were obviously not the only ones unwilling to make eye contact with strangers when aiming for a shower as we have heard people running down the corridor.
The doors slam rather loudly and they do so each time someone enters or exits a bedroom, but also twice each time someone needs to visit the bathroom. This makes for a whole lot of slamming although we were not in Rome to sleep but to get up early and enjoy all the city has to offer.
I would advise this hotel if you are a not hoping to sleep late in the morning and if you are not shy about your appearance pre-mascara (if so, avoid room 2, 3 and 4). The hotel charged my credit card without any warning or details. It turned out to be about 200 euros more than what had been estimated by hotels-com at the time of the booking (due to currency fluctuation and city taxes maybe?). For us, this hotel was nice but it was a bit of a disappointment.

This is a no frills hotel that is affordable in a great location. Things that stood out to me were the phenomenal beautiful roof top and breakfast, as well as fantastic customer service. When we accidentally took our bathroom key with us the hotel was very understanding and offered to pick it up at the next hotel we stayed at. We used the room with the external bathroom (room 4) and the bathroom/shower experience was great. No complaints!

Booked this hotel for a June stay.
Despite a check-in challenge on day one (which was quickly remedied by management), this hotel was by far THE BEST hotel during our Italy tour.
Nice decor, clean, very quiet, spacious enough, good A/C and great security.
Staff was very attentive, breakfast was great, rooftop terrace is a dream.
Location is perfect, all attractions are within 30 minute walk or shorter.
Highly recommend this place. Grocery store and fun little shops and restaurants within a block or less,
Apparently some rooms have a shared bathroom option, so this review of for a room with the on-suite bathroom.
Be sure to share your arrival details with the hotel as the front desk was not always occupied during our stay.
Hotel is on 5th floor of a regular residential building and has a working elevator.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for night. After seeing their glossy website and reading the 5 star reviews we were really looking forward to our stay. I’m sorry to say that this hotel was a bit of a disappointment. The aesthetic is well done and the room and bathroom are both very clean but a few of these rooms have seperate bathrooms down the hall - this wasn’t made abundantly clear on booking and was quite inconvenient. Also my daughter accidentally locked herself out of the room at 10.30pm and there was no one on reception during the night to help us!! There was a number to call that was unattended and it wasn’t until we ran into another guest who knew where a spare key was that we were able to get back in to our room. The breakfast wos good and plentiful and the terrace is lovely but there was some construction work happening off the dining area while we were there and the vibe of the hotel was just a little off for our liking.

+1
This is a beautifully decorated, comfortable and convenient place to spend some nights in Rome. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the breakfast was better than in most 5 star establishments and the private bathroom (albeit down the corridor from the room) was beautifully finished. Great attention to detail - usb point near the bed, well stocked and reasonable minibar, lounge/bathroom to relax in if you happen to check out like us and need a place to relax before going home. The real delight of this place is the rooftop terrace where they serve breakfast - amazing! You can even relax there at sunset with a drink from the mini-bar. The staff are polite and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

This tucked away terrace promises much. The views are stunningly good, but the service is stunningly inconsistent; ranging from below average to positively rude.
We went twice in three days. On our first visit the team were busy but managed to deliver the drinks and food after several attempts to make an order. Given the size of the space c.50 covers it was amazing to watch a team of 6 waiters and waitresses and bar staff operate in such a disorganised way. The views and the two bottles of LP champagne eased the wait times. The food is tapas style and nearly everything comes with pork which after a while is very repetitive.
On the second visit, the two person lift was broken and 5 floors on uneven marble steps is not ideal. But those views… so we made the effort. We thought a pre dinner drink would be nice. We had had enough pork to last us a week or so. We were focused on a bottle of LP in the sunshine.
Upon arriving we were asked for proof of our booking (if you visit you’ll see how totally unnecessary that is … they ask your name via the intercom downstairs).
Upon arrival to the terrace we were not greeted so sat at one of 15 empty tables for two. After a few minutes a waiter asked us to move three tables down as this was our table 🤷🏻♂️. We moved.
After 10 minutes we hadn’t been acknowledged or offered a drink. I stopped a waiter who was laying cutlery out to ask for some water. He advised his colleague would be along shortly. After another 5 mins will no one taking an order we left.
With so many great terraces and restaurants in Rome don’t play the lottery and go here. Until the management sort the service and the menu avoid the shoddy service and the chance you’ll have to walk 5 floors.

The breakfast here is SO good. Decent breakfast is not a thing in Rome until you visit this place… and the views are stunning…
Definitely get the scrambled eggs and bacon - with the pancakes. The service in Rome can also be a bit hit and Miss but here they are 10/10

Everything was amazing! Clean and comfortable room, nice options of breakfast and in the middle of Rome! On terrace you have the option to eat your breakfast with picturesque view
The stuff was kind and really helpful!
Probably many will worry because the (private) toilet is not in the room but a bit further. We do not care at all. Was not problem at all.

My mother and I had an amazing brunch on the rooftop of this boutique hotel. Location was amazing and they provide extremely personalized service. The owners were the sweetest and the private Chef definitely exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

Hotel is in a great location, with lovely interiors. All of the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you! We went to several rooftop bars whilst in Rome and this one at the top of the hotel was by far the best, with amazing 360 views. We missed breakfast a couple of times due to leaving early in the morning, and the hotel was really accommodating and left us breakfast in the room.
This hotel ticks all of the boxes for a Rome city break!
