The Divina Luxury Hotel opened in December 2022. A perfect combination of modern comfort and references to the Dolce Vita. Despite being a very central hotel, a stone's throw from Villa Borghese with the convenient Saba car park, and four minutes from Piazza Barberini with the metro stop, it is located in a street with little traffic, therefore the wonderful and finely furnished rooms are quiet and peaceful. In the bathroom, the waterfall shower and massage jets make waking up a pleasant moment to start the day. Breakfast on the first floor is entrusted to two caring girls who make you feel pampered in every desire. But the welcoming and exquisite hospitality is certainly entrusted to the director Mrs Katherine, who manages to establish an empathetic relationship from the first moment and make you feel at home. This will be our home every time we come to Rome!

We stayed from 22 to 26 December in this excellent hotel and I must say that the service offered by the buffet breakfast and the clean, spacious and comfortable bedroom can be considered everything a couple needs to pamper themselves. A particular note of merit certainly goes to all the staff and in particular to Mauro, a friendly receptionist prepared with extreme attention to every particular need. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by Stefano and Paola (Mantua)

The hotel is located in the north of the city center, directly in front of the walls of the Villa Borghese Park, just a few minutes from the Spanish Steps. When we visited, there was a huge construction site in front of the hotel entrance. The location was very quiet, to get to the center (Trevi Fountain, restaurants, bars, shops, etc.) you always had to walk a while (about 2km) down the steep hill and then of course up again, the hotel is on a hill.
What I found outstanding, and I don't understand the other reviews here, was the breakfast. Very large selection, they brought you any drink or egg dish you wanted. Whether scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes, nothing was left to be desired.
We left relatively late in the evening and were able to leave our suitcases in the room behind reception.
In May the air conditioning didn't work, it was already very warm in Rome. Apparently that's seasonal. The hotel and the room inside were nicely decorated, although very dark. There were dim LED strips in the bathroom, but you could hardly see yourself in the mirror. Some of the paint was crumbling. The socket in the bathroom didn't work, there was no socket next to the mirror in the room, I dried my hair blindly, I wouldn't rate it as a 4 star hotel and for the high price I would have expected more

To be totally fair I am going to have to start by saying that not all of the issues that reduced our pleasure ate entirely the fault of the Diva. We were there during a heatwave and the air conditioning could not really cope. As a result we slept poorly and sweated profusely. The roadworks outside the hotel meant that the road outside was unsightly. At another time these might not be issues; I can only rate my experience. This is a luxury hotel. The staff are excellent. The rooms are beautiful and the beds large. The wardrobe provides plenty of space and actually has sufficient hangers (a rarity). There are too many different light switches for sanity. Be aware, this is Italy and although the television in the room is large, there is only one English language channel (BBC News). That is no a criticism, just a fact of life. The bathroom is vast and very well equipped. There are two sinks, a bidet and a large, powerful rain shower. The only issue was that it was dim even with all of the (many) lights on. Breakfast is good. It is a continental style buffet with breads, cheeses, meats and fruit. The breakfast staff were exemplary. I cannot praise them highly enough. After the second morning they knew us and our coffee order. They were helpful and friendly.

This hotel was a nice quiet respite away from the noise and crowds of Rome, but still very close to action. The room size , from Italy standard, was very generous, especially the bathroom, with 2 sinks and a nice size shower.
The breakfast was delicious and the workers were so pleasant and welcoming.
This was a great calm home base after being on the go during the day.

Great location close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Hip on /hip off bus stop is round the corner. Breakfast buffet was a great range of cold foods and the server was fabulous - after a couple of days she had our coffee ready virtually as we walked in. Bathroom was very snazzy and the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had - roomy and powerful. It’s more a glamorous bed and breakfast than a hotel. There no food other than breakfast and nothing like room service etc. We were there in 35C heat and the room had no discernible air conditioning - we had to have an electric fan and even then it was barely tolerable.

I had a very good experience for 4 nights here. The room was very large and the bathroom exceptional. 2 sinks, huge walk in shower with powerful hot water jets. Bidet always a great asset. Lots of amenities so they don’t skimp on shower caps , slippers etc. The room looks newly refurbished so everything worked and in good condition Great mattress and triple sheeting so luxurious, all very clean Breakfast was good and included hot items and cold items plus fruit and yogurt The 2 women at breakfast are pros and kept up with demand including making a great latte. At the front desk Katrina and Jean Louis who met me on arrival are the stars. The rest of the team could learn a lot from them like smiling and saying good morning before you do. The last morning there was a fire alarm no fault of the hotel but a guest set it off with dryer , yet no audible announcement was make only the alarm and this wasn’t loud enough to be truly taken as an alarm unless already awake I walked down the stairs only to find I was the only guest who’d come out of their room. Hotel manager should be worried as had this been a real fire it could’ve been a real mess. I would stay here again as the value for the $$ spent was excellent

A superb hotel to stay at with exceptional and friendly staff. The bedrooms are huge and ours had a nice view of the gardens opposite with their resident parakeets. It is up a hill so may be a problem if you are infirm but to me it was in an ideal position near the Spanish steps.
I got charged for a damaged hairdryer which I believe was my daughters fault so no issue there but when I went to pay the final bill they said that I had two beers from the fridge which was not true but as soon as said that I had not had them I was not charged.

Couple's anniversary holiday, excellent location, on foot you can go to the most important places within a radius of 1.5 km: Villa Borghese, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Colonna, Pantheon, Vittoriale, Tiber Island, etc etc . Very friendly and helpful staff as well as competent. Small but cozy hotel. We chose a suite with a panoramic terrace, I would say very, very beautiful, spacious and bright room, very large bathroom, amazing terrace. Excellent breakfast. We will definitely be back if we can.

Jean Louis from the front desk was the perfect host. Jean recommended a number of restaurants which turned out to be most enjoyable. Our room was clean and spacious. The location was perfect and close to everything. Highly recommend this motel. There are a number of excellent restaurants next door and many others close by. The hop on hop off bust stops are close by and The Spanish Stairs, Trevi Fountain, and Colosseum were all within walking distance.

Hello Roxana,
Since your child is with you,
I would recommend a private transfer directly from the airport to the hotel. You can reserve online via suntransfers they do have good rates and can also book the infant seat.
Otherwise, a train to the termini station and from the station you can go by bus or by Taxi to the hotel.

The hotel is in the middle of Rome not far from the Spanish steps. The port of Civitavecchia is about 50 miles north west of the city. Most of the cruise companies lay on a coach to get you to Rome
There are more places to choose from in the Rome area.
