Very nice hotel, attentive and courteous staff, free Wi-Fi. Typical Italian buffet breakfast. Only negative is this hotel is about 2 miles away from the Vatican and further from most other sights, restaurants and tourist attractions. We stayed 2 nights with a Trafalgar tour so we had bus service to and from the major sights. A taxi from the hotel... More

Me, my wife and infant daughter (7months old) stayed at the hotel July to August for 5 days. 1. Location: the hotel is in a great location of you don't mind taking a scheduled shuttled or taxi to get around. There is a bus stop close to the hotel but again , this being okay is dependant on how convenient... More

Nice, clean hotel with attentive staff. The hotel is walkable to the Vatican, but not much else. Taxi rides to/from other areas varied but ranged from 15 - 18 euros. Breakfast buffet is very well supplied.

This is a late review. I stayed with my wife for 5 nights on December 2011. The rooms were clean and spacious, but nothing really special. Room decoration was limited. Bathroom was clean. The worst part was the soundproof. You could really hear everything that happens at the rooms of the floor above. The breakfast was continental, nothing really special.... More

This is a good hotel with friendly staff and good sized clean rooms with effective, quiet air conditioning. To get to historic Rome or the usual tourist areas does require transport. The hotel's shuttle bus does not hold many people so advanced booking is required at busy times. Cipro metro station is a 20 minute walk downhill away. Bus 990... More

If you wish to be close to the attractions of Rome-i.e. the city centre, the Vatican, the Collosseum, the Forum-then this hotel is not for you-it is far away from those tourist sights. There is little to see within walking distance of this hotel. It is situated in one of the residential areas of Rome and takes some travelling (which... More

We had a wonderful journey through Italy in July. First we stopped in Rome for a few days and we chose Grand Hotel Tiberio. Hotel has a good location and convenient shuttle service to the center of Rome. It is not in the heart of Rome, but we were very satisfied with it and the connections with the center were... More

The hotel was a nice clean hotel, but it was far from the old center of town. No place to eat or sightseeing within walking distance. Had to take a cab to go to the center of Rome. Rooms were noisy, especially when toilets were flushed in adjacent rooms. Not the place to stay if you want to be close... More

This hotel is very nice considering that when you're staying in Italy on a moderate budget, you learn not to expect much. The lobby and hotel grounds are clean and attractive. The hotel and rooms are well air-conditioned. The staff was always very helpful. The daily breakfast is the most disappointing part of the stay. It wasn't much, but I've... More
