The owner met us outside after we messaged to say we'd be couple hours late from the Amalfi coast. The toll areas on the motorways on the way in were badly organised and very slow. The rooms were wonderfully decorated with four poster beds and well sized, nice bathrooms too. The entrance door is very secure and takes some getting...

I recently stayed 4 nights at the hotel. It is very apparent from check in that they value your experience and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast is brought to your room, you select the time and what you would like each day for the next morning. It is very good, I recommend getting a cappuccino! Location is great, it's...

Dear Margriet, Thanks for the review. Let us take advantage of your review to remind everyone that we are not a luxury Hotel but just a 2 stars one and all our rooms are the same 17 squared meters and, for Rome, are sometimes even considered larger than the normal standards. We are in Monti district, which is the most...

I lucked into staying at Hotel de Monti for five nights in November. Out of the four hotels I stayed in Italy, this was definitely my favorite. The stairs were no joke, but at least Rome was my first stop and I hadn't picked up the second, giant suitcase yet, right? My room was clean and big (I think I'd...

Kind Brynne, Thank you very much for this wonderful review that we really appreciate! We are in Monti district, which is the most characteristic and the most central one in the City and the furthest thing to be reached by foot is the Vatican City, with an easy 45 minutes walking. Also, the area is surrounded by real Italian/Roman restaurants...

My partner and I recently stayed here for 4 nights, beautiful part of town to stay in and the hotel matched it! Great breakfast provided each morning and was a breeze checking in & out (were able to leave our bags before check-in time and after check-out to make transport to & from airport simple). Room was small but cosy...

This was a great stayed in Rome. Location its the best part of this hotel, 10 minute walking to Coliseum, and 5 minutes to cathedral Santa Maria Magiorre. our room was a good size, clean, no frills, and fine as a base. I wouldn't have wanted to spend any time there as the window was small, with an aspect across a narrow street to the back of another building, but fine for sleeping in. The shower room was on the small side, but functional. Fresh towels daily. Reasonable...

Dear Guest Thanks so much for the review! The location of our Hotel is actually the most central in the City, as the Monti district (where we are) is the part where Roma has been originally built, more than 2700 hundreds years ago. We are still only a 2 stars Hotel, with rooms facing the big street or the interior...
